Good morning everyone, yesterday I wrote New AMEX Offers: $20 Off $100 @ Macy’s and Other Random Offers. This morning, I checked my AMEX account and found a new AMEX Offer for Hilton Hotels & Resorts: get a $75 statement credit when you spend $350 or more. Looking at the small print, it looks like only Hilton Hotels and Hilton Resorts qualify for this offer, all the other Hilton chains are excluded (Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, etc.).
I have tons of other AMEX Offers linked to each AMEX card. Since I don’t have time to individually show every offer, here is a quick screenshot of all the offers in 1 of my AMEX accounts. These offer screenshots were taken from a different AMEX account than yesterday’s screenshots, so there should be some new AMEX Offers. The AMEX Offers are roughly 95% the same on all my AMEX cards, but some offers only show up on one card.

It only works in the US and US territories.

Both AMEX Hilton Credit Cards charge ~3% FOREX fees, but I could still be worth it with this 25% discount ($75/$300).
Simple workaround i’ve used with Hyatt is to buy a gift card at a local hotel and bring gift card with you. DK if Hilton sells them but if they do you’re golden.
I think Hilton does sell Hilton GCs, just call to make sure they have them in stock.
“Excludes gift card purchases.” How will they code it?
Most Amex offers have the same wording, but the terms are rarely enforced.
I’m at the Hilton website and gift cards WILL definitely not qualify for this based on reading this: “This Card is issued by American Express Prepaid Card Management Corporation.”

I used Tweetdeck to sync the offer to 7 cards. Perfect timing for us. Although we are using points for Hilton Waikoloa (visiting 7/23), parking/resort fee/restaurant charges after a week will add up.
I’m sure you will be pretty close to $350 or more after a week.
if you have a Twitter account, it should work if you link the card to it. Hassle I know, but every Amex card should be eligible (via Twitter) and that’s because this is a Twitter offer not just a targeted one.
There’s a new offer out there for $400 back on $2000 at Quantas. I had it on 2/4 cards.

Hmm, prepaid rates would probably work since the charge would post as soon as you book the hotel stay.
What about if I actually visited a Hilton and purchased a gift card there with my Amex card. Do you think that this would trigger the deal?
Over even better-I’m at a Hilton tonight and my bill will be 155.00. If I purchase a gift card at the front desk and add (making sure it posts as one transaction) for 200.00 for a total of 355.00 do you think that would trigger the deal?
I think as long as they can add the GC purchase to your hotel bill, you should qualify for the AMEX offer.
