Good morning everyone, hopefully you had a fun and safe New Years Eve.  January 1 marks the beginning of Q1 and the new Chase Freedom categories are now live (gas stations and local commuter transportation).  According to Travel Codex: “Local commuter transportation includes the following ride share services and nearly any public transit agency: Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, Taxis, Local and suburban passenger commuter train and subway fares (excl. Amtrak), Local commuter tickets, and Local commuter ferry tickets.”

If you had the Uber AMEX Offer below linked to your Uber account, it is time to remove those credit cards from your profile and add your Chase Freedom as the default payment method.

Uber AMEX Offer

I checked my Chime Card account and there are new deals listed for gym memberships and travel.  Spend $50 at Southwest Airlines and get $5 cash back.

I bought a $50 Southwest Airlines egift card with my Chime Card.

Cash back posts right away.  I did the same deal back in early November when Chime had the same Southwest Airlines deal available.

Last but not least, here is the current bunch of BankAmeriDeals. Noting exciting here.  I did check my AMEX account and there are no new AMEX Offers listed.  Nothing for Citi Offers or FlexPerks promos either.  Hopefully in the next few days, we will have a few more deals.
