Blog Post Ideas Floating Around in my Mind

Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  Last night, my brother and I drove down from San Francisco and stayed at the lovely Holiday Inn Express in Salinas, CA (near Monterey Bay / Carmel).  We are now on the road down to Pismo Beach to go ATVing on the sand dunes.  I’ve been busy this week with travel planning and booking, so I haven’t had time to write any articles.  Here are some ideas that are swirling in my mind and I wanted to ask my readers if any of these topics interest you.  If they do, please let me know in the comments and I will try to write about them soon.

  • Keep Spirit Airlines miles alive by buying a magazine subscription (and other things I learned about trying to book a Spirit Airlines flight)
  • Who wants a free Spirit Airlines flight? (possible giveaway idea)
  • New improvements to cleverlayover.com (original post)
  • New award calculator tool called rewardstock.com
  • Weekend trip to Pismo Beach: riding ATVs on sand dunes (this trip!)
  • Booking NYC award flights for New Years Eve (booking LGB-JFK with JetBlue TrueBlue points and booking JFK-SFO on Virgin America first class using 37,500 Virgin Atlantic miles)
  • Booking flights and hotels to Phoenix for MLB Spring Training
  • Cheap hotels in Cabo San Lucas / Los Cabos in Mexico
  • Getting a Brazilian visa
  • ExpressVPN (browse securely and anonymously online)

That’s all I have on my mind.  If anything sounds interesting to you, please let me know.  Have a great weekend everyone and travel safe!

    Getting a Brazilian visa
ExpressVPN (browse securely and anonymously online)

Both are interesting, the visa one merits a ‘what’s that for’ ;)

I will be at Iguazu Falls in Argentina in January. We want to visit the Brazilian side of the falls which requires a Brazilian visa. The visa is good for 10 years, so I hope to be back to Brazil again within the next 10 years.

Those seem to be popular topics. I have used ExpressVPN (desktop and iPhone app) but I don’t have any experience using it outside CA. I just learned about RewardStock, so I need to do some research first.

Too bad you did not come to Carmel by the Sea the Mayor (Steve Dallas) would have given you a permit to wear high heals
