Holiday Inn Buenos Aires Argentina Ezeiza Airport Hotel (20k / Night + Free 24 Hour Airport Shuttle)

Good morning everyone and happy Valentine’s Day!  After our 2 night stay at the Aloft Bogota Colombia Airport Hotel (hotel review), we flew down to Buenos Aires, Argentina.  We overnighted at the Holiday Inn Ezeiza Airport Hotel before heading to Iguazu Falls, Argentina in the morning.  This hotel is only a few minutes outside the airport and they offer a complimentary 24 hour airport shuttle – you just have to request a pickup from the airport.  This is the hardest part since you have to go to the taxi dispatch kiosk inside the airport just outside the baggage claim area.  Tell them you are staying at the Holiday Inn Ezeiza Airport Hotel and they will request the hotel shuttle for you.  It took us almost an hour to figure this out, so hopefully you do not make the same mistake we do.

The hotel is 20,000 IHG points per night and when I checked in, they gave us an upgraded room thanks to my IHG Platinum Elite Status (thanks to having the Chase IHG Rewards Credit Card).  The room is pretty standard – here are some pictures to prove it!

Unfortunately, the view outside our room was not that great.  There was a gas station and a swimming pool and our room overlooked the freeway.  Near the elevator, there is a helipad, but we did not see any helicopters take off or land.

Lastly, thanks to my IHG Platinum Elite Status, we got complimentary breakfast at the restaurant.  The restaurant is buffet style and you can get whatever you want.  I love trying the local fruits, juices, and pastries.  After finishing breakfast, we headed out of the lobby to get on the airport shuttle.

If you have an overnight stay near Buenos Aires Airport (EZE), the Holiday Inn Ezeiza Airport Hotel is a great place to stay.  If you have a longer stay in Buenos Aires, I would recommend staying at a hotel closer to the center of town.  On our return trip to Buenos Aires, we stayed 3 nights at the Sheraton Libertador Buenos Aires Hotel (trip report coming in a few days), but our next stop was Iguazu Falls and the Sheraton Iguazu Resort & Spa Hotel (trip report coming soon).  If you have any questions about the Holiday Inn, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!
