Good morning everyone.  I hope your weekend is going well so far.  Yesterday, I received an email from Barclays regarding my Barclays Arrival Plus Credit Card.  If I add an authorized user between December 1 and December 15, I will get a $10 statement credit.  You can only get 1 $10 statement credit.  I believe this offer is targeted, but if you have a Barclays Arrival Plus Credit Card, check your email and see if you received a similar email.  I have a few other Barclays credit cards, but I did not receive a similar offer on those credit cards.  I also have not used my Barclays Arrival Plus Credit Card in several months, so that might be another reason why I was targeted for this offer.

Here are the terms and conditions of the bonus:

1 The primary cardmember is financially responsible for all authorized user transactions. In addition, we may provide account information to the credit bureau for all account users’ credit scores. This bonus offer is for select Barclaycard Arrival Plus Mastercard cardmembers and is not transferable. Qualified cardmembers will receive $10 statement credit when an authorized user is added between December 1st and December 15th. The statement credit will appear 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion. One $10 statement credit per account. To be eligible for this offer, the Barclaycard Arrival Plus Mastercard account must be open, active and in good standing.

I added an authorized user to my account and received the confirmation email from Barclays a few minutes later.  As soon as I get the authorized user credit card, I will activate the credit card and make a small purchase on the credit card.  The $10 statement credit should post 1-2 months after December 15.
