Buenos dias everyone. I thought you might be interested in which credit cards I carry and which ones live in my sock drawer – I know I’d be interested in learning about what my fellow authors use! I’ll start it off, and hopefully Grant, Shelli, Bill, and Whitney will chime in when they get a chance. This will be a multi-part series – I’ll start with what’s in the wallet I carry every day, and later I’ll tell you about what’s I keep in my passport holder, what I keep in my backpack for special occasions, and the cards I use exclusively online or not at all.
Buenos dias everyone,
If you have an eligible Discover card, it’s time to register for the Q2 5% Cashback Bonus categories: Home Improvement and Warehouse Clubs.
You should have gotten an email from Discover with a one-click registration link, or you can just visit the Discover Cashback Calendar to activate.
Last quarter I bought discounted gift cards at Sam’s Club and Costco for the 5% cash back; I’ll probably spend a decent amount at Home Depot this quarter and then buy gift cards with the rest. I’ll use the cashback earned to buy more gift cards from Discover and sell them for a slightly larger profit.
Do you have plans for your Discover 5% category, or for the cash back you earn? Let me know in the comments.
New Chime Card Cash Back Offers: Panera, CVS, Wendy’s, Costco, TGI Fridays, and Others
Good morning everyone. I checked my Chime Card app this morning and noticed a bunch of new cash back offers. If you still don’t have a Chime Card, you are missing out on free cash back offers. Learn more about the Chime Card here.
Remember, these offers are first come, first
serve save. With Chime Offers, both credit and debit card transactions count at these merchants, as long as you spend the minimum amount to claim the offer. I have never tried buy items online with my Chime Card, but I suppose it *might* work. If you want to be safe, I would buy items in-store, including gift cards. Panera, CVS, and Costco offers will probably go fast, so start shopping!
