Flying with first time flyers in my twin 1 year old daughters to T&C and Cartagena this year. Could use kit to travel more efficiently. Love the blog Grant!

    1. Grant

Sounds great Jaun, I hope your daughters have a great time and enjoy flying. I’m sure you got their passports already, correct?

  2. Bill

During 2015, I hope to actually go on a relaxing vacation, rather than the “workcations” I had to take during 2014.

  3. Mac

Would like to fly my parents for their anniversary trip to somewhere in Europe this year. We will have to see where availability opens up!

  4. Mordy

Thanks for a great and personable blog! Muchly enjoyed :)
Looking forward to hopefully taking my new wife on a nice vacation, as our 1st Anniversary draws near, hopefully made affordable by points and miles and whatever other bonuses I can find :)

  5. Tom H

Happy new Year Grant. I’m looking forward to taking my granddaughter to Disneyworld. if selected, I’d prefer one of the United kits.

  6. Clay

For 2015, I have a goal of traveling to Las Vegas 12 times. Oh….and I plan to do it for free. Too easy?

  7. Alex

I’d like to celebrate my birthday this October 14th on board for the very first time, most likely by redeeming miles for award ticket in premium class using United or Thai Airways, as I’m staying in South East Asia. planned destination: HKG, BKK and SGN

  8. Marty

May sound corny, but as I am newer to this “biz”, I look forward to getting one of these kits on my own someday. Just applied for my American Airlines card and hoping I can have 1/100th of the knowledge that you all have!

  9. Raul

The thing that I am looking forward to the most in 2015 is my wedding in Maui. 6days and 5 nights in paradise all thanks to Grants posts and his readers comments. Free airfare free car rental and free lodging including one room where my new wife will be able to literally walk a few step and be on the beach. I look forward to giving my fiance a dream wedding and honey moon all thanks to everyone here at travelwithgrant.com

  10. Ang

I’m looking forward to my Seoul + Tokyo trip next month! It’s been a long time coming and I’m excited it’s finally here! Happy New Year!

  11. JasonP

Looking forward to trying delta miles + dollars and delta one way awards tickets to take some vacations!

    1. Grant

That makes one of us. I burned around 30,000 Delta SkyMiles last March when I used Delta pay with miles (cheaper to use that option than to redeem for an award flight :P)

  12. Keith S

Just before the end of the year the company I’ve worked for 13 years announced they will be closing the office.I will officially be unemployed this march. so unless I can find a job, i’ll have plenty of time to travel to SE Asia and also travel up to Beijing to walk the Great Wall. That Delta Tumi bag would come in handy. Thanks

    1. Grant

Keith, when one doors closes, another door/window opens up. This could be your opportunity to go on that long trip to Asia that you have always wanted to do. Life is short and I try to live by this motto: on my deathbed, would I rather say “I wish I worked more” or “I wish I traveled more”? I know it is kind of silly, but you never know what the future holds. If you decide to go, I wish you a safe and happy journey.

      1. Keith S

        Grant.

I appreciate your words of encouragement. I try to follow the same philosophy. But for me, there is always a fear of the unknown, but I try every day to fight through it, and have faith. In almost every situation, it always worked out for the best. I need to remember that. Just wanted to say that even if i don’t win the Delta kit, I just wanted to say thank you for your kind words.

        All the best,
        Keith

        1. Grant

Thank you Keith, sometimes we need to try new and scary things. I try my best to follow that advice, but sometimes it is difficult. Have a great weekend!

Looking forward to my international trips to Turks & Caicos, Mexico, Europe & back home next year!

  14. Gib

Looking forward to enjoying the benefits of my newly minted ConciergeKey with American this year. Would prefer one of the American kits.

    1. Grant

Congratulations on the upcoming achievement. What are you looking forward to most with Million Miler Status with United Airlines?

  15. Laura

I’m most looking forward to finding a job in 2015. I lost my job due to a move West from the East Coast this past summer, but since the economy has really picked up I’m confident I will finally find something. I’m looking forward to a trip to the Big Island in April that we’ve been planning since last year. Free airfare & a free hotel stay thanks to this “hobby” I honed during my “time off” from having a job… The Delta Tumi kit looks nice to me. Thanks for offering these to your readers!

    1. Grant

I wish you all the best with your job hunt and am confident you will find something soon. I hope you have a great time in Hawaii. Aloha!

    1. Grant

Ahhh Alaska, one of my favorite states. It is amazing to visit such a unique place. I hope you have a great time in Alaska and congrats on finishing up your schooling!

I am looking forward to my first real vacation in two years – going to Italy. I have been so busy with work, but when my father recently passed, I realized that life was very short and I need to live life from my heart right now and not waste another minute. So I took those miles that have been accumulating and booked a two week trip! Thank you for all of the info I’ve gleened from your great site and the chance to win the amenity kits for your readers. :-) (the Delta kit would be my choice)

    1. Grant

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I am glad you will finally take that trip to Italy that you have always wanted to go on. Like you said, life is short and you should take nothing for granted. I’m sure you will have a great time in Italy, it is a beautiful country with great food :)

      1. Tiggywinkle22

Thank you for the kind response, Grant! Sometimes it takes these kind of eye opening moments to make you reevaluate life and the way you live it. It certainly as done so with me and has made me reevaluate my priorities a bit more. Thanks again!

  17. Joanna

    1. Grant

I hope you have a great trip to Columbia. i wish I spoke more than 10 words of Spanish, otherwise I would travel to more Central and South American countries. The farthest south I have ever been is Ecuador :)

  18. benny

Get a job, and find out what I want to do with my life. Other than that … manufactured spending of course! I want to MS to the max, rack up as many miles/points as possible. Hope and pray Redbird doesn’t get killed. And maybe go on a vacation with my parents to Taiwan.

I check and read your blog on a regular basis. I really appreciate all the information and updates you have provided to us!

Hope you’re enjoying your new job and San Francisco Bay! :)

    1. Grant

Best of luck finding a new job and with MS. I hope you can take your parents on a great trip to Taiwan. Have a great weekend!

    1. Grant

Sounds like a great trip. I hope you go to Washington DC when it is a little warmer. So much history and national monuments to visit.

  19. Art

Taking my wife on her dream come true trip…Flying to France next month using my US Airways Miles, using my Club Carlson points to stay for free in Paris, & using my Delta Points to fly to southern France via AirFrance. Then in May, fly & stay on points to see our daughter graduate from college. Enjoy your blog very much. Any kit would be fine with me.

    1. Grant

Sounds like a great use of miles and points! I hope you and your wife have a great time in Paris. It is a beautiful city full of culture and delicious food (and wine). Happy New Year!
