Many New AMEX Offers (Legal Zoom, Jelly Belly, Extra Space Store, etc.) and Paper Deals from Staples

Good afternoon everyone, I hope your Monday is off to a great start.  I wanted to quickly mention the Sacramento Meetup from last Saturday.  After a short hour drive from Walnut Creek to Sacramento, I saw some familiar faces and met some new people.  Even though the group was only 7-8 people, everyone in attendance was very knowledgeable about MS and award redemptions.  We chatted for almost 3.5 hours and had a great lunch at In-N-Out.  I personally think these smaller meetups are better than larger FTU travel conferences since most deals are region/city specific and these smaller meetups give you a chance to meet other locals and bounce ideas off each other.

With that said, here are a bunch of AMEX offers (some from last week that I forgot to post) and a few new one from this morning.  There are offers for Legal Zoom, Jelly Belly, Extra Space Storage, Chewy, Diesel, Babett, Maison Birks, Red Door Spas, and Seasons 52.

Like clockwork, Staples has more paper deals this week.  Single reams of paper are 1 cent after coupon and rebate.  You can buy 2 5-ream boxes (I think the image below is wrong) for $4.99 after coupon and rebate.  Unfortunately, there are no gift card deals this week.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

P.S. I am starting to brainstorm an idea for a meetup at the Las Vegas Centurion Lounge.  Several people have mentioned this to me and it sounds like a crazy idea, but I am sure a few people would show up.  I am waiting for an airfare deal from JetBlue, Virgin America, or Southwest Airlines where round trip flights to Las Vegas are around $50-$60.  Would you be interested in a meetup at the Las Vegas Centurion Lounge?

Grant, do you happen to know if FIA Amex or the USAA amex can b signed up to receive these offers? Both those cards are not issued directly by Amex.

I’m hoping someone can help me out. For the last few months, I’ve been unable to get to my discount possibilities. I get to a page with 20 different benefits of the card and click on AMEX offers. I then get to a page that says “Get AMEX offers now” and click on Get started. That brings me to an logon screen, which gets me to a dead end after I input my login info. Where am I going wrong?

    Thanks

All you do is log into your Amex account, click on one of your Amex cards, then you will see three tabs with the one on the right called Offers for You. Click that button and you will see all the offers for that card. Check your other Amex cards to see other offers.

Have you used the ibotta app? $5 off $50 at staples until the 22nd. I’d say that’s a great deal on 3rd party gift cards.

On my personal HHonors AMEX and SPG AMEX, along with a companion HHonors AMEX (wife the principal cardholder), I had a spend $20 get $20 off Amazon deal this morning. I registered and bought $20 gift cards. Immediately got the “Congrats for using your offer” email.

No other members of my family received this offer. Interesting that all my family members have Amazon accounts in their own names, one prime the rest not (mine’s not prime). But I was the only one who received this targeted offer. And I did not receive it on all my AMEX cards.

Yeah, this one was like having a winning lottery ticket. I think I read a comment on Dan’sDeals of a guy who got the Amazon promo on like a dozen of his cards. No idea what algorithm they used to assign this.

Is an extra 50 CC points worth $1? Smart & Final has VISA GCs…$50 for 4.95, and $100 for 5.95. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if S&F is a grocery or warehouse store for AX.

So sad that I loaded up on normal spend GCs at Lowes.
