ExitFares Combines the Search Power of The Flight Deal, Airfare Watch Dog, and Other Airline Deal Websites

(Hat Tip to Paul for the CN Traveler article)

Good morning everyone, I recently learned about a new travel website called ExitFares which aggregates all the best airline deal sites like The Flight Deal, Airfare Watch Dog, and many smaller sites.  After you create a free account, you can receive daily emails with only deals from your chosen cities.  I selected Los Angeles and San Francisco and received 9 flight deals on the first day.  If you are interested in checking in out, please create an ExitFares account.

Check your email to verify your account.

Your ExitFares account is confirmed and will start receiving daily email alerts based on your selected cities.

On the home page, you can view all airfare deals from anywhere…

Or you can select airfare deals only from a specific city (like San Francisco).  Beneath each flight deal, it tells you which airline and which site found the deal.

Here is my ExitFares deal alert email after the first day.  Clicking on the link will take you to ExitFare’s website.

From here, click on the link below the image to go to the original website (in this case, StealThisTrip.com reported the deal).

Just like The Flight Deal, this website has basic travel information regarding the deal.

If you already follow The Flight Deal and Airfare Watch Dog (on Twitter or by email), this is a great safety net to catch any other deal that might slip through the cracks.  I’m trying to find a good time to go to Las Vegas to host a miles and points meetup.  Ideally, I would do the first meetup at the SFO Centurion Lounge on Saturday afternoon then fly down to Las Vegas and do another meetup at the Las Vegas Centurion Lounge on Saturday night.  It is a crazy idea, but it just might work :)

If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone.

Grant, how does ExitFares compares to Airfare Watch Dog?

I recall having signed up for Airfare Watch Dog briefly at some point and I disabled it afterwards because it would email me false positives, i.e. lots of emails with nothing of use. I don’t remember exactly now, it was just for a few days. It’s possible I didn’t set it up correctly.

I can only compare ExitFares to The Flight Deal’s daily emails. So far, the results have been strictly for my preferred cities (SFO and LAX) and I get a good variety of results. I would check it out and see how you like it for a few days.

This is great! Thanks for sharing! I’ll also still continue subscribing to both Airfare Watchdog and The Flight Deal, but you’re right, this is catching other things too.

If you compare the email list from ExitFares to both that of The Flight Deal and Airfare Watch Dog, you will see some familiar deals and some new deals too.
