Targeted Bank of America Offer: $2 Cash Back Bonus for Completing any BankAmeriDeal

Good morning everyone, I hope your 4th of July is off to a great start.  A few days ago, Bank of America sent out an email regarding a targeted BankAmeriDeal.  The offer is simple: get a $2 cash back bonus when you complete any other BankAmeriDeal.  The offer sounded interesting, so I decided to check it out.

BankAmeriDeal Email

After I logged into my Bank of America online account, I clicked the Special Offers & Deals tab to view all my BankAmeriDeals.  Since I was planning on getting breakfast, I decided to complete the Panera Bread offer.  That offer provides 10% cash back on your Panera Bread purchase.  I added my Bank of America Better Balance Rewards Credit Card to my Apple Pay account and headed to Panera Bread.

Here are more details regarding the $2 cash back bonus.  You must activate this offer and complete any BankAmeriDeal by July 31, 2015.  You will then receive the $2 bonus by August 15.  This offer may not seem like much, but it is a step in the right direction for BankAmeriDeals, which still have a long way to go to match AMEX Offers.

When I was a few minutes away from Panera Bread, I went on my iPhone to my Panera Bread app and purchased food for pickup.  I used Apple Pay to pay and selected my Bank of America Better Balance Rewards Credit Card from the drop down list.  Since I am a Panera Bread member, I have a special offer for free coffee/tea/soda all month long.  I will have to wait a few weeks to see my $2 cash back bonus, but I will let you know when that credit posts.

I received a double cashback on all BankAmeriDeals in July. Before you get too jealous, you have to redeem at least two offers (not too hard) and it’s capped at $10.

Good deal, I would have used Starbucks if I got the $10 promo. I love Five Guys but I don’t think there are any up in the Bay Area :(
