New AMEX Offers: $20 Off $100 @ Macy’s and Other Random Offers

Good morning everyone.  I don’t know about you, but I love AMEX Offers.  I love them so much that I check my AMEX account probably 1-2 times per day for new offers.  The last few weeks have been pretty slow in terms of great MS AMEX Offers, but hopefully that changes soon.  I tried to find a few AMEX Offers worth sharing, but this Macy’s offer was the best I could find.  I only saw this offer on 1 out of 5 AMEX cards, so it might be highly targeted.  Get a $20 statement credit when you spend $100 or more at Macy’s or macys.com.

Macys AMEX Offer

I have tons of other AMEX Offers linked to each AMEX card.  Since I don’t have time to individually show every offer, here is a quick snapshot of all the offers in 1 of my AMEX accounts.  The AMEX Offers are roughly 95% the same on all my AMEX cards, but some offers only show up on one card.  Click the images to view a larger version.

If you have any questions about any of the above AMEX Offers, please let me know and I will take a screenshot of the offer in question.  Have a great day everyone!

P.S. I am working on a few other blog posts about US Bank Checking Accounts and my brother’s first App-O-Rama.  Stay tuned!

I just tried to enroll more than one Amex card in this offer, using the tried and true method of opening more than one windows at once. After I synced the first card, I attempted the second card, and received a message “already enrolled in this offer.” Anyone else have this experience?

Can you link to an all-in-one source for truly syncable offers? I like to sync all the offers through Twitter before adding them on the Amex site.

How are you viewing these offers in the “old” version?? My AMEX website is now that horrible “new-and-improved” monstrosity. The offers are giant blue rectangles that require laborious scrolling left to right….Is there a setting to view through the old site, or are you just one of the lucky ones that hasn’t been “upgraded” yet?

And thanks for the heads up on the Macy’s offer; I’ll go over there now and start scrolling… Hope I have it!

I feel your pain. My parents have the new version you described. I don’t know if a way to revert back to the old version. I have 3 personal cards and 2 AU cards in my account. Maybe that has to do with forcing the old view.

I’m with cheesepuff. The current site is awful. Every time I have contact with AMEX I tell them the new layout is horrible, and that the old one was much more efficient. But then I’m just a single voice in the wilderness of apathy. Why all IT people think “new” automatically means “improved” is beyond me. I’ve give a hearty HT to anyone who can tell me how to force the old layout.

Thanks, Grant. I might just try that. You mentioned your parents have the new layout as well – do they not have any AU cards? (Working backwards to try to determine if this is the magic bullet.)

Darn it Presley! Sometimes you get to good offers and sometimes not. Keep checking every few days and you might get this offer or another good offer.

On 3 out of 4 cards! They all have different logins, so I opened them up one after another. I didn’t use different browsers or different tabs, just one right after the other. Thanks for the heads up! I need to do some back to school shopping already.

The terms & conditions say “Limit 1 statement credit per American Express online account”. So, even if I have saved the offer in more than 1 card (but all tied to the same online account), would it mean I get the offer only once & not on the rest of the cards ?

Technically yes, that is true, but if you open each AMEX card in its own tab and add the offer to each AMEX card at the same time, you can get the offer to apply to multiple AMEX cards. I’ve done it many times and it always works.
