Updated 11/1/2015 at 11am PT: added a screenshot of the Shop Small AMEX Offer for AMEX Business cards ($20 off $100).

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween.  There is a new batch of AMEX Offers to share today.  Instead of Small Business Saturday (which would have been November 28 this year), American Express replaced that promotion with Shop Small in November.  If you use your enrolled AMEX card at any “qualifying small business” in November, you will get a $10 statement credit after making a $10 purchase.  The offer appeared on my Platinum, Blue Cash Everyday, and Old Blue Cash (no love for my AMEX Everyday cards).

There is also an offer for AMEX Business Cards: you will get a $20 statement credit after making a $100 purchase (thanks for the screenshot, Alex)

There are 5 other AMEX Offers: Olive Garden, Restockit, Scoop NYC, Simon Pearce Retail Store, and The Red Door.

Here are today’s Chime Card offers (minus the banner images).  Nothing amazing here.

Last but not least, here are today’s BankAmeriDeals.  Nothing amazing here either.

Grant, shop small is def. targeted; or max offers already exceeded. Got 19 rocks.

Somewhat cruelly, was targeted for zero value promo below on a few cards:
    “Get Ready for Nov 28
Get downloadable marketing materials, free ads and more that can help attract more customers on Small Business Saturday. Terms Apply”

Hmm, I find it hard to believe that the max number of offers is already exceeded since AMEX has yet to send an official email out about the event. If that is the case, that is very bad planning on their part.

This is what i noticed — I got it on my personal Amex cards 4 out of 4, for which I am primary account holder.

On my biz Green card, I got $20 off $100.

None of my authorized users got it.
None of the cards on which I am an authorized user got it.
None of my Bluebirds or Serve cards got it.

Anyone else notice this same pattern? Essentially primary account holder only, and only on personal Amex cards. Biz cards maybe have a $20 off $100.

Hmm, that might be the targeting that AMEX is using for this promotion. Can you take a screenshot of the business $20 Off $100 offer and send it to me?

Good to know, I’ll check again when home. Checked last night was 0/26 for wife and I. In CA. None on primary or AU.

Then again, did the SBS last year on most of the cards so maybe they are tired of me.

Same data here, Grant. Only on my personal cc’s, 2/4. Only primary cardholder, no AU’s got it. And nothing on any of our Biz cc’s.

Thank you for the additional data points. Check back tomorrow to see if your other cards get the offer. I think it is a slow roll out by Amex.
