Pathetic US Bank Radisson Rewards Targeted Spending Offer

Good afternoon everyone.  I just wanted to share a pathetic US Bank Radisson Rewards targeted spending offer I received yesterday.  I have 3 US Bank Radisson Rewards credit cards (Business, Visa Signature, and Visa Platinum) and received the same pathetic spending offer on all 3 credit cards.  After spending $50 on the credit card, I will earn 1 bonus point per dollar, up to 5,000 bonus points.  The Business and Visa Signature versions earn 5x everywhere, so this would be 6x everywhere.  I barely put any spending on my US Bank Radisson Rewards credit cards and this promotion does not entice me to start using these credit cards.  If you use your US Bank Radisson Rewards credit cards more often, you may receive a better targeted spend offer.

US Bank usually sends out physical letters and then follows up with the same offer via email, so check your mailbox and email over the next few days for these targeted offers.  If you received a better targeted spending offer, please share the details with me in the comments section.  Stay safe and have a happy Halloween everyone!

Someone should tell US Bank / Radisson Rewards that the whole point of a targeted spending offer is to get people to start spending on your credit card.

This whole program is a joke. Recently signed up for the card. Asked where my gold status was. They informed me that it takes 2 months to get the status from the card. Signed up for 15k and 50k promotions and was sent registration email saying that the points would be on the way once I completed the requirements. Now that I’ve completed them, I’m not eligible for the bonuses because I wasn’t targeted even though they confirmed I was registered!

Needless to say, I’ll be earning the bonus, burning the points, and canceling the card. Never again will I waste any more stays on Radisson or this pathetic US Bank card.

If you signed up for the promo and received the email confirmation then I don’t see how US Bank / Radisson Rewards could deny you for your bonus points.

Club Carlson / Radisson Rewards has continued to go downhill after the loss of their BOGO benefit a few years ago.

That’s exactly what I said! If I wasn’t eligible, they should’ve not sent the registration emails. I spent some time on the phone with them as did a coworker and we were basically both told to pound sand.

My bonus offer was make 10 purchases of $10+ in the month of October using my business card & I would get 10,000 points.

Currently, I have 430,000 Radisson points. I don’t know why I wasted time and spend on them, but you live and learn. I just got back from three weeks in Spain and Portugal and spent my time there in Marriott, IHG and Hilton properties. Radisson just didn’t have much to offer. I also have a “free”annual domestic night to burn, but in my area there is only Country Inns and Suites (gag) and a rotten Radisson on Corpus Christi beach. Any ideas where I should use it and some points to put together a decent stay fo fun?

I’ve heard many good things about the Radisson hotels in Chicago and NYC. I think they are 70k/night, but you can use your domestic free nights there.
