American Express Shows up to 100 Available AMEX Offers Per Card (Add Offers to View More)

Good morning everyone, happy Friday!  I am not sure if this is old news or not, but I discovered yesterday that American Express will show up to 100 available AMEX Offers per credit/charge card.  If you want to view more AMEX Offers, you have to activate/link/add the AMEX Offers to the card.  I found this to be true on both my American Express Business Platinum Charge Card and my American Express EveryDay Credit Card.  Both cards had 100 available AMEX Offers at the start, but when I started to add AMEX Offers to my cards, new AMEX Offers started to appear.  Here is what I discovered.

American Express Business Platinum Charge Card

When I signed into my American Express account, I had 100 AMEX Offers available and I already added 6 AMEX Offers.  There were 106 total AMEX Offers possible for this card.

I then activated/linked/added 11 AMEX Offers (just the “Earn 1 bonus Membership Reward Point” at select merchants).  I then had 89 AMEX Offers available and 17 added AMEX Offers.  There were still a total of 106 AMEX Offers possible for this card.

After I logged out and logged back in, my account went from 89 AMEX Offers available to 97 AMEX Offers available.  Somehow 8 new AMEX Offers loaded to my card.  I wish they were great targeted AMEX Offers that Doctor of Credit always posts, but they were nothing special.  There were now 114 total AMEX Offers possible for this card.

I didn’t know if this was only limited to business cards or charge cards, so I tested a personal credit card too.  When I signed into my other American Express account (I have 1 login for business cards and another login for personal cards), I had 100 AMEX Offers available and I already added 3 AMEX Offers.  There were 103 total AMEX Offers possible for this card.

I then activated/linked/added 4 AMEX Offers that were expiring soon.  I then had 96 AMEX Offers available and 7 added AMEX Offers.  There were still a total of 103 AMEX Offers possible for this card.

After I logged out and logged back in, my account went from 96 AMEX Offers available to 100 AMEX Offers available.  Somehow 4 new AMEX Offers loaded to my card.  There were now 107 total AMEX Offers possible for this card.

I then activated/linked/added an additional 9 AMEX Offers that were expiring in December.  I then had 91 AMEX Offers available and 16 added AMEX Offers.  There were still a total of 107 AMEX Offers possible for this card.

After I logged out and logged back in, my account went from 91 AMEX Offers available to 95 AMEX Offers available.  Somehow 4 new AMEX Offers loaded to my card.  There were now 111 total AMEX Offers possible for this card.

I was really hoping that the best targeted AMEX Offers that were previously hidden from view would suddenly appear, but there were no amazing offers that came through.  If you have 100 available AMEX Offers, you may want to activate/link/add a few AMEX Offers to leave room for new AMEX Offers to appear.  If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Even if I live to be 100 I don’t have the time or desire to scroll through 100+ offers to save a buck or 10.

My GOSH! I was wondering why all the bloggers were reporting on new awesome (in my opinion) offers and I wasn’t getting any of them. Thanks Grant, this is exactly my situation too!

Wow. Thanks so much. I’ll try it out! I’ve been stuck at 100 for weeks, since none of the offers were of interest, and was wondering why I didn’t get the great offers everyone’s mentioning.
