Updated 5:20pm PT on 12/9: I received the $5 Starbucks email from ParkMobile on December 7, which was 7-8 days after completing the promo requirements.

Updated 7pm PT on 12/4: I just received an email from ParkMobile stating that I completed the ParkMobile / MasterCard promo and that I will receive an email in 3 business days with a $5 Starbucks gift card.  Scroll down to see the email.

Good afternoon everyone.  ParkMobile is an app (iOS or Google) to pay for parking and it is very popular in the San Francisco Bay Area.  A few days ago, I received an email from ParkMobile with details of a promotion they are running with MasterCard.  If you add a new MasterCard credit card to your ParkMobile account, you will get a $5 Starbucks gift card (I’m not sure if it is a physical gift card or an eGC) after you pay for a parking session.  The details of the promo do not specify the minimum parking price to qualifying for the $5 Starbucks gift card.

I added my Citi Double Cash Credit Card and dragged the card to the top of the list to set it as my default payment method.  I then paid for parking – luckily there were lots of ParkMobile zones available nearby.

I made sure to pay with my linked Citi Double Cash Credit Card to trigger the bonus.

Even though I completed the promo requirements on 11/29, I just received the success email today (12/4).  According to the email, I will receive an email within 3 business days with my $5 Starbucks gift card.

A few days later, I received the $5 Starbucks gift card email.  I added the Starbucks eGC to my Starbucks app and transferred the balance to my Starbucks Gold Card.

I have not received the $5 Starbucks gift card yet, but it should arrive soon.  If you have any questions about the ParkMobile promo, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

FYI in the article you say “(I’m not sure if it is a physical gift card or an eGC)” but in your second screenshot T&C it specifically says “Receipt of Starbucks e-card May take up to 72 hours”. So there’s your answer. ;)
