What are your Valentine’s Day & President’s Day Travel Plans?

Good afternoon everyone.  I apologize for not blogging much the last 2 weeks.  My real job (day job that pays the bills) has been really busy the last 2 weeks and I haven’t had the energy to write on my blog.  Laura and I are going to a wedding next weekend, so we don’t have anything special planned this weekend.  I’m very excited to spend Valentine’s Day with my wife (our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple) and we are going out to dinner tonight (Thursday) to avoid the craziness of Friday.

With that said, I wanted to hear what my readers are up to for Valentine’s Day and President’s Day this weekend.  If you have any special plans or just spending a relaxing weekend at home, I would love to hear about it.  Share your thoughts in the comments section.  Happy Valentine’s Day from the Thomas’ and have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Susan, that sounds like a great evening. I’ve never gone to a dinner dance, is there a certain type of music that they play? Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your husband <3

Happy first Valentine’s Day, newlyweds! I went to my favorite bakery, French’s, and got a chocolate cake with raspberry filling in the famous “pink box” to surprise my loving husband!

My wife, son, and I are traveling to Osaka tomorrow! Early morning flight from SAT-SFO enjoy breakfast in the Polaris lounge and then UA 35 in business to Osaka for a 10 day trip to the Kansai region. Couldn’t imagine a better Valentine’s Day gift.

That sounds like a fantastic trip. I hope you enjoy the United Polaris Lounge, it’s one of my favorite lounges at SFO. Have fun in Japan :)

Happy Valentine’s Day, Grant & Laura!!! Hope you guys had a great celebration dinner last night and will have a relaxing weekend to come.

Philly and I flew up to Chicago today. It’s 11 degrees at the moment! Brrrrr!!! It’s all good, though, as we’re here for a baby shower for our first grandchild (a girl), who is supposed to arrive in late April. We’re having a get-together with family tonight and then we’ll go out for some Chicago pizza tomorrow night. Good times :) ~Craig

Hi Craig, Chicago sounds pretty cold, but I’m sure it will be a great trip. Have fun at the baby shower. I’m sure you will make frequent trips back to Chicago to see your granddaughter over the years :)
