Good morning everyone, I hope you had a good weekend.  Today is June 1 and the start of a new month.  As the saying goes: New Month = New Credits.  I have several credit cards, but these are the 5 credit cards that have credits that I can use this month:

American Express Business Platinum Card

Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit Card

a black and silver credit card

JPMorgan Chase Ritz Carlton Credit Card (upgrade from Marriott Bonvoy credit card)

  • 6/1 – 12/31: $300 airline reimbursement credit – I still need to work on using up this $300 airline reimbursement credit, but I have the entire year to figure it out

The credits from the first 3 cards should be pretty easy to use this month.  If you have any questions about any of these credits, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

If you use your Sapphire Reserve in June at grocery, won’t the zeroing out of the $300 credit mean you don’t get any (let alone 5x) points on that $300 of spend?

Hi Jennifer, we are not sure yet. Today is the first day when those things overlap, but we should know soon. I made a purchase at the grocery store this morning and my statement closes in a few days. Stay tuned :)

Any experience or DP on spending the $250 restaurant credit with AMEX Hilton Aspire? Does the credit post instantaneously and hassle-free?

I made a restaurant purchase on June 1 on my AMEX Hilton Aspire CC but I’m still waiting for the charge to post. Hopefully the statement credit will post shortly after that. I will keep you posted.

Hi Ryan, the CSR annual fee is $550, but Chase is providing a $100 statement credit this year to being the annual fee back down to $450. At $450 it is a great deal. Not so much a great deal at $550, but my next annual fee is due April 2021.
