Wyndham Timeshare Vacation Package: 3 Nights + 15K Points for $199 in Anaheim, Orlando, Las Vegas & More

Good morning everyone, I hope your week is going well.  Yesterday, I received an email from Wyndham Vacation Resorts for a 3 night stay in Anaheim, Orlando, Las Vegas and 7 other cities + 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points for $199.  These vacation packages require attending a 2 hour timeshare presentation (please see the terms and conditions before booking).  You may be able to get an even better deal if you call the Wyndham Vacation Resorts phone number (1-877-393-8405).  The phone reps really want people to attend the timeshare presentation and have the power to give you more incentives, like more free points or a $100 Visa gift card.

I’m not sure if this matters, but I am in California, I have Wyndham Rewards Diamond Elite Status and I have the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card.  You need to book your reservation by February 8 and you must complete your stay by December 31, 2022.  Here is the email I received from Wyndham Vacation Resorts:

I decided to do a dummy booking for Las Vegas to see what properties were available and what the total price would be.

I looked through the calendar and there is very good availability for the next several months.

I picked a random 3 night stay in March and then I was shown a few different properties.  I saw several Caesar’s Rewards properties, a Hyatt property, and the Club Wyndham Grand Desert.  I selected the Club Wyndham Grand Desert and continued my dummy booking.

Here is what the Club Wyndham Grand Desert looks like from the photos.  It looks like a nice resort.

The all in price with tax came out to $237.13.  The tax should differ depending on which state the property is located.

If you already had plans to go to one of these 10 destinations, I would definitely look into these timeshare vacation packages.  I value 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points at $150-$200, so you are almost breaking even before showing up.  I love Wyndham Rewards Points and like to use them to book 1 bedroom vacation rentals with Vacasa (read My Experience Booking Vacasa Vacation Rentals with Wyndham Rewards Points).  I don’t have any plans to visit any of these destinations in the coming months, so I will pass on this offer, but if you are, this could be a great deal.  Just make sure you stick to your guns and don’t buy a timeshare!  If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

The Wyndham Grand Desert is a pretty decent place to stay. A little dated, but the units are set up with full kitchens, fridges, dishwashers, and washer/dryer units. Off the strip, but not terribly far (5 min uber ride or 15 min walk). Free parking, and no resort fees. There’s also a free shuttle that’ll drop you off in Harrah’s lot, but it does end around 9:30 PM. Good for families or for those that like a little quiet; not so great for those that like to be on the strip.

One major downside is no ice machines available to use. They were removed due to the pandemic, but it feels more like a cost-cutting measure. The fridge does have an icemaker, but your trip will most likely be over when it finally makes enough ice to use.

The Wyndham Desert Blue is set up like a traditional hotel (i.e. no kitchen, etc.), and is slightly more updated. Also slightly closer to the strip, but still off the strip.

Hi Vanson, thanks for sharing your experience with those 2 Wyndham properties in Las Vegas. I haven’t stayed at either property but they both sound like decent options :)
