Citi ThankYou Points: 25% Transfer Bonus Ends Soon

Avianca LifeMiles and Citi’s ThankYou points programs linked up in late 2017. From time to time Avianca offers a bonus when transferring ThankYou points. From now until December 12, 2018, they are offering a 25% bonus when transferring Citi ThankYou points to Avianca LifeMiles. That’s as good a bonus on transferring ThankYou points as I’ve seen.

Tonei’s 2016 Year in Review: A Record-Breaking Year of Travel and Reselling

Buenas tardes from Cancun! I wanted to tell you all a little bit about how my last year went. In 2016, I blew past my previous record for miles traveled, went all in on gift card reselling, moved to Mexico, and picked up a handful of credit cards and bank signup bonuses along the way.

I flew just over 197,000 miles last year, a significant increase from my previous record of 125,000 miles in 2015. The change was mostly because I did a lot more flying across oceans – my 2015 trips were entirely in the Americas, but I spent a lot more time in Europe and Asia in 2016.

My Citi Prestige In-Branch Application Experience with PDF Paperwork and Brochure

Good morning everyone, last Saturday, I went to my local Citibank Branch to apply in person for the Citi Prestige Credit Card.  By applying in-branch, you receive a different (better?) version of the Citi Prestige with a larger sign up bonus and a lower annual fee.  Read this post to learn more about the difference: Citi Prestige: 50,000 ThankYou Points Online or 60,000 TYP In-Branch Offer?  Without further ado here is my experience…

Citi Prestige® Card: 50,000 ThankYou Points Online or 60,000 TYP In-Branch Offer?

Good morning everyone, I learned from Doctor of Credit that the Citi Prestige® Card online offer increased the sign up bonus from 30,000 Citi ThankYou Points (TYPs) to 50,000 Citi TYPs.  I was planning on applying for the 60,000 Citi TYP offer in a Citi Branch, but then I started to have second thoughts.  Which offer was better?

The current best online offer for the Citi Prestige® Card offers 50,000 Citi TYPs after spending $3,000 in 3 months and paying the $450 annual fee.  All the other benefits are the same as the in-branch offer, so look for all the benefits at the bottom of this post.
