Hotel Review: Sheraton Four Points by San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
Being an SPG Gold member does have its perks. This is my attempt at a hotel review (sorry for the pics, it was late at night with my iPhone).
I stayed Friday night here with SPG Cash and Points (Cat 3 = 3,500 SPG points + $55). The $55 includes all taxes, which can sometimes be a lot in SF. The hotel has an airport shuttle that it shares with a few local hotels. The shuttle runs every 25-30 minutes to/from the airport, which is only 5 minutes away.
Upon entering my room, I see a staircase. How cool, I had never stayed in a hotel room with a staircase inside my room. There is a first for everything.
If you are travelling with small children, they can sleep here (staircase under the stairs, just tell them Harry Potter used to sleep there).
Couch looks comfy, but I did not get a chance to test it out.
A flat screen TV, with a desk and a lamp. Amazing!
Minibar by the door with a sink and coffee maker. I didn’t have a chance to try either out but i’m assuming the minibar is cool, while the coffee maker makes hot drinks.
Come upstairs (I feel like I’m giving a tour on Cribs)…
Nice queen size bed with lots of comfy pillows.
Here is another TV, this one I did use to watch ESPN.
Lest I forget the bathroom, with a sink, a toilet, and a shower/bath combo.
Nice big sink for my 1 toothbrush.
This is actually a pretty nice property and I wouldn’t mind spending another night here if I was spending the night by SFO. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
Was this an upgraded room for Gold member?
I don’t know if upgrade is the right word. I checked into the hotel at 9:30pm and I think my room was taken so they “upgraded” me to the nicer room.
On SPG’s website, I think I was at the Penthouse suite, non-smoking: Queen + Double Sofa Bed which comes with a separate living room with sofa and a wetbar.
where were u going out fom sfo ?
No where, just flew to SFO to visit my cousins in Walnut Creek last weekend.
hey i ve been to Walnut Creek, I used to live in SJ and drive out to napa valley, had to go through WC on the way.
Nice, it was my first time there, it looked very nice. Bart station is close by for easy access to the Bay Area.
