New AMEX Offers for You: Petsmart, Petco, Lowe’s, Crate & Barrel, Souplantation, Sports Authority, & Zappos
Good morning everyone, I just checked my American Express account and spotted these new offers in my American Express account. Your offers might be different since some offers are targeted or regional.
Please read the small print regarding online or in-store purchases. I got burned by American Express because of this a few times. Learn from my mistakes kids!
Petco offer is only for online purchases. You might be able to buy an egift card online, even though it says egift cards are excluded. No guarantees.
This offer was around in November/December. You can probably buy an Amazon gift card or some other gift card.
My mom loves Crate & Barrel, so I’m sure she is stoked to see this offer.
I’m not a huge fan of Souplantation, but maybe you are. Remember, this offer is not valid online (hehe).
Great store in SoCal for sporting goods.
I’ve bought several pairs of shoes through Zappos. Great experience.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Happy April Fool’s Day everyone!
Nice catch. These little $10 back sure make that $475 MB Plat AF easier to accept. Just checked mine and I had a $5 off a $30 purchase at BP.
Nice job. Lots of good deals, especially when you can stack the offer on multiple AMEX cards.
Petsmart also has free shipping today only and two coupons you could use:
$4 off of $15 Code: BDAY4DOG14
$3 off of $10 Code: BDAY4CAT14
You can also get 10% cash back shopping through Shop Discover. So if you need pet supplies, today is the day!
Very helpful, thank you Josh!
Thank u Grant. Got the zappos. They sell pillows too. Can I ask your help? I’m planning to go to Costa Rica, Liberia, from 1/1/15-1/11/15. I’d love to go business class. I have a lot of different points. Which would be the best way?
What is your home airport?
NYC. Jfk I prefer. But Laguardia or newark is ok.
These are some routes I found, they might/might not work for you:

You can mix and match if you have AA or UA miles.
Grant, I opened a US AIRLINE CARD. 40,000 miles and companion pass for $99. Two questions, can I transfer 20,000 points from my boyfriends American Airlines miles to equal the 60,000 miles needed? And can I use the US airways $99 companion pass for my boyfriend if my ticket is all points?
The $99 companion pass is only valid for travel in the United States, not on international flights. Also, you have to pay for the ticket and it has to be at least $250. Lastly, you cannot transfer AA miles to US miles. You can buy US miles during one of their promotions that they run frequently.

Sorry for the ignorance, but does your experience with this tell you that these offers will generall be available on ALL my Amexes, or only like 1 or 2?
Also, by stacking, do you mean you can use 4 different Amexes with offers to split a transaction 4 ways and get the benefit of the deal 4 times? Let’s say turning a spend $50 at Lowes and get a $10 statement credit into buying a $200 item for $160?
I have 5 AMEX cards and these deals are usually on 3-4 cards, then I get random deals on the other cards. To get this deal multiple times, open up several different tabs or windows, each with its own AMEX card. Then you can add the deal to multiple cards. If you don’t do that, all the deals will be registered to only the first card, this is a secret workaround.
Hi Grant,
I may be late to the party on this one, but I was wondering if the Lowe’s offer can be used to buy Staples gift cards in store? If so, do I need to Tweet @AmexSync to get the offer added to my cards?
If that offer is still around (I think it is, check the link to the post that has Lowe’s in the title), you can add it to your card from your AMEX account or through Twitter.
