How to Request a Citi Dividend Cash Back Check
Ever since I first got my Citi Dividend Credit Card back in January 2014, I have been waiting for this day. The day that I would be able to cash out my winnings earnings cash back from Citi. I was able to accumulate $300 cash back pretty easily by going to CVS a few times a week and buying Vanilla Reload Cards. Those were the days. It was almost too easy (link).
After a few months of “shopping” at CVS, I was able to rack up a perfect score of $300 cash back.
After I logged into my Citi online account, I was able to redeem my cash back in the form of a check (Citi lives on the cutting edge of technology…).
Redeeming the full amount was pretty easy and straight forward. Just click the green redeem button on the bottom. You can redeem for a check in $50 increments.
Verify your mailing address and click the continue button.
Congratulations, your rebate check is on its way.
After requesting the rebate check, your account will reflect your earnings and redemptions.
After about 6-7 days, I received my rebate check in the mail.
That’s all you have to do. As for my Citi Dividend Credit Card, I will keep it in my drawer for the rest of the year and take it out of retirement (senior center?) and see what category bonuses await me in 2015.

Nice overview, Grant. I’ll probably pick it up when a decent category comes along I can MS the full $300 in.
Yes, that’s the best strategy. You might have to wait a few quarters for a decent option.
