Club Carlson Flash Sale: Buy Radisson Blu Stays for ~$100 (24 Hour Promo)
Club Carlson is currently running a 24 hour sale for purchasing Club Carlson Points. The Flash Sale began on June 23 at 9:00AM EST and will end on June 24 at 8:59AM EST. During this period, you get a 75% bonus on the number of Club Carlson Points you purchase. Here is the link to the promo page.
Warning: Do not buy Club Carlson Points if you do not intend to use them in the next few months. It is not smart to stock pile points, even if they are a really good deal. Do you remember when Hilton devalued their award chart overnight, making some award stays more than twice as expensive.
With that said, you can purchase up to 40,000 Club Carlson Points per account, per year.
Each point costs 0.4 cents per point, regardless of the number of points you buy. If you purchase the maximum 40,000 points, you will receive 30,000 bonus points for free. The total cost is $280, including all taxes and processing charges. If you pay with a US Bank Club Carlson Credit Card, you earn your standard 5x on the purchase. Since the points you earn from using your credit card are so low (1,400 Club Carlson Points), I will not include them in the calculation.
To simplify the pricing, let’s say you have the US Bank Club Carlson Credit Card. Since you can redeem 50,000 points for a 2 night stay (second night being free), 50,000 points would cost $203.
If you have any upcoming stays in Europe, the Radisson Blu properties can be a good deal. Here are a few random Radisson Blu properties I found that are going for 50,000 points per night. All the paid stays are well over ~$100, so this promo might be a good deal for you.
I personally am not going to buy any points. I have about 67,000+ Club Carlson Points already in my account and I have no plans to go back to Europe later this year (where the nice Club Carlson properties are located). By having the US Bank Club Carlson Credit Card, I earn 5x on all purchases, so if I continue with my MS, I can get Club Carlson Points for 0.2 CPP (1 cent / 5 = 0.2 CPP).

Hi Grant,
Thanks. It is a good deal but the MS is still much better.
Cost $6 for $500 gift card and get 2500 points or $6/2500= 0.4 cents per point
