According to the Chase Ultimate Rewards Terms and Conditions (link), you can combine points from different Chase Ultimate Rewards accounts:
Can I combine the points I earn from other Chase Ultimate Rewards cards?
Yes. You can combine points or rebates from any eligible credit or debit card with Ultimate Rewards.
Note: Once points are transferred, they cannot be credited back. Transfers may only be used to combine points belonging to the same individual or business in the program; or for the purpose of enabling spouses or domestic partners to combine points. Chase will not make the transfer if the credit card account(s) or checking account(s), as applicable, are in default at the time of the transfer.
All you need is 2 people with separate Chase Ultimate Rewards accounts (Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Plus, Chase Ink Classic, Chase Corporate Flex, J.P. Morgan Palladium, and J.P. Morgan Select).
If you are planning on transferring the Chase Ultimate Reward Points to one of Chase’s transfer partners, you will need to have a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Plus, Chase Ink Classic, Chase Corporate Flex, J.P. Morgan Palladium, or J.P. Morgan Select credit card. To learn more about that process, please read this page.
To transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards Points, log into the account which has the Chase Ultimate Rewards Points that you want to transfer to another. For example, my mom has 4,763 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points that she has earned with her Chase Freedom Credit Card. After logging into your Chase Ultimate Rewards account, go to the Rewards Activity tab on the far right side of the screen.
From here, click on the Combine Ultimate Rewards Points link on the left hand side.
This step is very important. Make sure you select the right credit card you want to transfer points from (Chase Freedom Credit Card in this case) and select Other in the Transfer To section. Then enter the Chase credit card account number where you want to transfer the points to. In this case, my mom wants to transfer her points to my dad’s Chase Ultimate Rewards account. Select the number of points you want to transfer and click the Next button.
Preview the transaction and verify all the information looks correct. Then press the Submit button.
Congratulations, you just transferred your Chase Ultimate Rewards Points to another account.
If you go back to the Rewards Activity page, you should see the latest transfer activity and your Chase Ultimate Rewards Points balance is updated instantly.
Log out of the first Chase Ultimate Rewards account and log into the second account. You should see the transferred Chase Ultimate Rewards Points instantly in your account.
As a final verification, you can refresh your Award Wallet balance and you will see transfer.

Pingback: Transfer Chase Ultimate Reward Points to Another Chase Ultimate Rewards Account | Travel with Grant
Wait so if u transfer one way you can’t transfer back? Eg I transfer all my freedom points to ink, I can’t transfer back to freedom in the future?
No,you can transfer them back and forth whenever you want. Chase just means you can’t get the Chase Ultimate Rewards Points back if you later change your mind. But you can always transfer the back from the other account. I hope that makes sense.
That does not make sense
What do you mean? They are your Chase UR points, you can move them between your Chase accounts at will.
Does this only work if you have same address or can I transfer points to anyone?
According to the TOC, you should only transfer UR Points to your spouse/domestic partner and business associates (for Chase Ink Bold/Plus credit cards). There is nothing stopping you from sending points to anyone, but Chase might notice and suspend your account. Is that a chance you are willing to take?
Yeah doesn’t seem worth the risk of shut down. Another question if I may. Can points be uses to book a flight for a family member or friend? Say I need to fly somewhere but have no points. Now let’s say I have a friend with lots of points. Can said friend book me a flight using his points or does friend also have to fly with me.
Yes, that would work. You can book award flights for anyone. Most frequent flyer programs allow this.
Don’t know why but I always thought you could only book flights for yourself and for your traveling partners. Well this opens up some money making opportunities. One could amass a ton of points through sign ups then book flights for friends and family. Family and friends could then pay me a fraction of what it would cost them to book a flight for cash.
Yes you could do that. I would be careful booking too many awards for other people, the airline might not like it.
Good point. Maybe I’ll just do this once or twice a year. I think i would use MR points to transfer over to avios and then use those to book flights to Hawaii using British Airways partners.
That’s a good idea. I’ve booked a few flight from LAX to HNL/OGG. Great deal!
I know there have been changes since this time. Is it still possible to combine points? I can’t figure out how to transfer my Freedom UR points to my Sapphire. Thanks!
Yes, log into your Chase account and go to your Ultimate Rewards account. In the top right corner, click the little drop down arrow next to the magnifying glass icon. You should see a link that says Combine Points. You will then be able to move points from one Chase credit card to another. Let me know if you need any more help.
You are a star Grant! I gave up after looking for that functionality on the new website for 5 min…
Glad to help save you a few minutes of time :)
What an awesome website “improved experience” Chase has implemented. It took me 5 minutes reading several blogs to find the secret menu. Everything used to be visible and available on the site without even scrolling.
Thanks for your help!
Chase’s new layout will take a little bit of time to get use to.
Sorry if this was covered but would I be able to transfer my Chase ink points to my sapphire reserve?
Yes, you can do it instantly online. Just go to your Chase Ink card within the Chase Ultimate Rewards Portal and you can transfer as many Ultimate Reward Points as you want.
