Random News: Zappos AMEX Offer, $2 McDonald’s Chime Card Offer, and November Stats for TWG
Good morning everyone, here is one more AMEX Offer to share: Spend $200 or more at Zappos.com and get $50 statement credit. I shared several AMEX Offers yesterday (link).
Zappos sells gift cards and egift cards. I haven’t tested this myself, but I would assume purchasing a gift card or egift card would qualify for the Zappos AMEX Offer.
For day 2 of Chime’s 25 Days of Chime, here is $2 for free at McDonalds. This offer is limited, so you might want to hurry up. You can see all 25 Chime Card offers here.
On a different note, I wanted to share some behind the scenes stats from my blog. November was the best month ever for Travel with Grant. Thank you everyone! My goal to get 1 million page views before January 1 is a bit of a long shot. I need to average a little more than 3,500 page views per day (easier said than done).
Here is a month by month look at page views since I started blogging in May 2013. Hopefully December 2014 will set a new page view record.
One of the coolest features of WordPress is Site Stats, it is very similar to Google Analytics. This image below shows the top 15 websites that sent traffic to Travel with Grant. Google and other search engines have been killing it lately, generating over 40% of my traffic for the last several months. I would also like to thank some of the other blogs that have linked to my site over the last month; thanks Greg, George, and Will. You guys rock!
My second favorite feature of Site Stats is the ability to see which pages and posts are read the most. Surprisingly, Load Vanilla Reload Cards is always near the top of the list. I have had more than 41,000 page views for that page since it was originally created in July 2013. It surprises me everyday that people are still searching for articles related to Vanilla Reload Cards. RIP old friend :/
This page also highlights one of my favorite aspects of blogging. You can write something once and have a lasting impression for months and years to come. If you have been reading my blog for a while, I am sure you probably read some/most/all of the posts and pages below.
If you have any questions regarding the deals above or the stats from November, please let me know. Have a great day everyone!
So should we always click to get to the page from the emails to get the stats up?
That would help, but it’s not really necessary. As long as you read the email, I am happy :)
You can sell the $200 Zappos gift card for $160, so $10 in free money?
Yes, that is what Will @ Doctor of Credit recommended as well: http://www.doctorofcredit.com/great-amex-offers-zappos-toysbabies-r-us-saks-bloomingdales-and-more-money-makers
I think selling gift cards is a little bit too much hassle for $10 though, so I will sit it out.
