2 $10 Amazon eGift Card Giveaway – Announcing New Partnerships with Award Wallet and Award Magic

Good morning everyone, it’s been a while since I did my last giveaway and I thought you guys deserved a treat before Halloween.  The purpose of this post is to announce my new partnerships with Award Wallet and Award Magic.  I would also like to refresh your memory on my stance regarding my Amazon affiliate link, credit card referral links, credit card affiliate links, and sign up links.  The details of the $10 Amazon eGfit Card giveaway are at the bottom of this post.  So without further ado, let’s get started.

Full Disclosure: Award Wallet is showing my logo on their site in exchange for me showing their logo on my site.

I was contacted a few weeks ago by Award Wallet and asked if I would like my blog to be featured / promoted on their website (Duh Yes!).  When you refresh your Award Wallet account, you may see my logo appear beneath your updated account balances.  It is an honor to be featured on Award Wallet, thank you guys!

Travel with Grant on Award Wallet

If you have never used Award Wallet before, please check out my detailed tutorial What is Award Wallet?  As of today, I am tracking over 100 loyalty programs (airlines, hotels, credit card rewards, cash back portals, rental cars, Starbucks Rewards, etc.) all in one place.  It is a great tool, one that I use on a daily basis.  You can track multiple loyalty programs for several people, making it great for families.  To sign up for your *free* Award Wallet account, please click the Award Wallet logo on the right side of this page.

Full Disclosure: I have an affiliate relationship with Award Magic and receive a commission if you book an award ticket through their service.

I am also happy to announce my new partnership with Award Magic – one of the best award booking services available.  When I first started my blog last May, I ran my own award booking service through this site.  I got a few requests per week, but I had very little time between working and blogging to spending on award bookings.  It is definitely time consuming and requires thinking outside the box.  You have to know which airlines flies which routes, which airlines those airlines partner with, which airline websites to use to search for award space, and a million other things.  That is where Award Magic comes in.  They can take care of all the award searching for you and get you to your destination in comfort.  Award Magic offers two different award booking plans:

  • Standard Award: $139 per person per award (Roundtrip or One-Way)
  • Magic Award: $249 per person (multi-destination, RTW)

I personally know several of the award bookers on Award Magic and am amazed by their knowledge and expertise in this field.  If you are interested in booking your next great adventure, please click the Award Magic logo on the right side of this page.

I would like to thank those of you for using my Amazon affiliate link.  I check my Amazon account often and greatly appreciate your Amazon purchases.  For those of you who shop on Amazon, please consider clicking my Amazon affiliate link (the Amazon logo on the right side of this page) before you make your next purchase on Amazon.  As an Amazon Affiliate, I receive a small cut of your Amazon purchase, including Amazon gift cards.  Thank you as always!

Amazon and PayPal Donations

Now let me carefully bring up the subject of credit card referral links and credit card affiliate links.  Last August (link), I made a promise to myself and my readers to never include a credit card affiliate link in any future blog post.  Everyone who reads this blog is smart enough to think for themselves and decide if/when they want to apply for a credit card.  As a result of my promise, I have all of my credit card links in a separate tab on the top of my blog.

Before I apply for any credit card, I always check FlyerTalk to make sure I am using the best sign up link.  At the top of my credit card page, I have a link to a Master FlyerTalk thread with all the current best sign up offers.

Grant's Credit Card Referral Links

As for credit card affiliate links, I only have access to these Barclays links.  This list is constantly changing.  I am sorry, but I no longer have a sign up link for the Barclays Arrival Plus credit card.  Hopefully it will be back soon, but I cannot give you any more information.

Grant's Barclays Credit Card Links

Lastly, I created a sign up page with a collection of sign up links for various online shopping portals and other services.  I will do my best to keep this page up to date.  If you plan on signing up for any of these websites/service, please consider using one of my sign up links.

Now to the fun stuff!  To enter my giveaway, please leave a comment regarding your favorite feature of Award Wallet or how Award Wallet has made your life easier as a result of using the service.  I will pick my two favorite responses and send you a $10 Amazon eGift Card.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Good luck everyone!

UPDATE: The winners of the contest are Joe and Ruth (check your emails for the $10 Amazon eGift Card).  Congrats!

Joe Amazon eGift Card Winner

Thank you all for leaving a comment and sharing your favorite part of Award Wallet.  I will hold another giveaway contest in a few weeks.  Have a great day!

    1) Award Wallet eliminates the hassle factor for me and keeps things nice and organized. Fantastic tool. I used to use my own Excel spreadsheet. Yuck; eventually ended up with a big highlighted TMI mess. 2) I will use your Amazon link from now on, starting with today. I somehow missed that previously. Have to put those fantastic Amazon cards purchased from Staples to use!

Great answer Christina! A spreadsheet sounds like a good idea at the beginning, but can quickly get out of hand when you are tracking multiple programs, for multiple people. Thank you for using my Amazon link, happy shopping!

I like award wallet because it lets me keep track of my the points I have for one of my favorite/less used credit cards. Before getting into the miles + points game, I was a cruise junkie (still am and will continue to be!) and loved collecting points to redeem for OBC on Royal Caribbean cruises through the Royal Caribbean BOA CC! It’s nice to have award wallet keep track of those points for me since they do expire and especially since it’s not a cc I have in heavy rotation and I sometimes forget I even have the card. It’s made my life much easier =)! I hope it never goes away!

I love that Award Wallet tracks expiration dates and that they send you an email a few months before the miles/points/credits expire. Also great for knowing when sign up bonuses post to various accounts.

When I feel sad about my mile balance after reading blogs, it’s always uplifting to looking at the grand TOTAL balance in my Award Wallet account. Currently, it’s 1,134,786. Yes, my rose-color glasses are on! I don’t want to burst my bubble with the facts that this “grand total” includes miles, credit card, shopping and car rentals points for a “few” people in my family.

As long as I am happy….

Travel hacking seems overwhelming at first, with all of the things you have to keep track of (CCs, minimum spends, annual fees, miles, expiration of miles, etc. etc.). Award Wallet is amazing in that it covers a TON of that stuff for you, automatically, so you can focus on finding the best deals, and then ENJOYING them! :D

I 100% agree. Award Wallet takes the time consuming / annoying responsibilities of travel hacking and allows us to concentrate on the more fun aspects of travel hacking :)

Award Wallet is great because it notifies me of expiring points. Just today it told me about some Hilton points that are going to expire. It’s only 2500, so not enough for a night, but I’ll figure out something to do with them

AW is a life saver and I remember when it came out, it was a game changer in terms of having a better handle re: expiring miles/points. It’s a no-brainer when I have to (I mean, get to) keep track of balances including my wife, two kids, parents, and mother-in-law all on one interface. The downside is having to install extensions for some of the programs, but can’t complain too much since the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Thanks for all you do Grant!

I love Award Wallet because you recommend it. In all seriousness the best part is the plugin feature that automatically logs in to website for you. I use it in conjunction with LastPass.

Award Wallet is my go to program! Basically a no-brainer after imputing our info at the beginning, all our point totals are just there whenever we check. It’s removed the hassle of trying to maintain a spreadsheet and manually have to update numbers! A real time saver!!!
Thanks for being such a great resource!
