New Chime Card Cash Back Offers: Panera, CVS, Wendy’s, Costco, TGI Fridays, and Others

Good morning everyone.  I checked my Chime Card app this morning and noticed a bunch of new cash back offers.  If you still don’t have a Chime Card, you are missing out on free cash back offers.  Learn more about the Chime Card here.

Remember, these offers are first come, first serve save.  With Chime Offers, both credit and debit card transactions count at these merchants, as long as you spend the minimum amount to claim the offer. I have never tried buy items online with my Chime Card, but I suppose it *might* work.  If you want to be safe, I would buy items in-store, including gift cards.  Panera, CVS, and Costco offers will probably go fast, so start shopping!

What's On My Mind

Weekend Update: OC and San Diego Meetups this Weekend, Chime Card takes 2 Weeks to Arrive, Staples.com Blocking Staples GC for Visa GC Purchases, Prettier Pages on TWG, and 2 Movie Trailers

Just a reminder, tonight is the OC Meetup at the Tustin District In-N-Out (link) and tomorrow night is the San Diego Meetup at the Starbucks/Sammy’s Pizza in La Jolla (link).  Hopefully I will be able to meet some of you this weekend.

I’ve written about the Chime Card a few times (link), but it seems like this small company from Salt Lake City is over their heads.  They are having a hard time keeping up with all the demand (thanks to FlyerTalk, MilePoint, and other forums) so your card may take up to 2 weeks to arrive.  My dad ordered his Chime Card on the morning of July 9…

Random News: New AMEX Offers for AT&T / Sprint / T-Mobile / Verizon, Best Buy, PF Chang’s, Elephant Bar, and Nestle Life Water Delivery; Targeted 2,500 Alaska Airlines Bonus Offer; Free $5 Starbucks eGift Card from Discover Card; and New Chime Offers

It’s been a while since I last posted a few good AMEX offers.  These are all targeted offers, but hopefully you have some/all of the ones below.

The first offer seems like a great deal.  I’m guessing that 90% of you have a cell phone from one of the big 4 cell phone providers.  AMEX wants to save you some money.  Up to $30 per registered AMEX card toward your cell phone bill.  This is one of the few offers that allows you to triple dip on the cash back.  Enrollment is limited, so you should hurry and register your AMEX card with this offer.

Refresh your Memory: Plink, Shopkick, Visa Savings Edge, Checkout51, and Chime Card (Plus Enter my Contest for 2 $10 Amazon eGift Cards)

If you are interested in winning one of the two $10 Amazon eGift Cards, just leave a comment below with your guess between 20,000 – 50,000.  Good luck.

Since there are so many rewards programs out there, it might be good to refresh your memory on them and point out some of the benefits of each program.  I will link to all relevant posts since I talked about all of these programs at least once my blog.

1 – Plink – Sort of like your best friend in high school.  You were really close for a long time, but then your friend changed and now you barely talk or think of the other person.  What I mean is, Plink used to partner with Staples and Office Depot and you used to earn oodles of Plink Points by buying gift cards in-store and online.  Unfortunately, Plink no longer partners with Staples or Office Depot.  Instead, they have the following partners:

Chime Card Prepaid Reloadable Debit Card – Instant Cash Back Card

(Hat Tip to Will @ Doctor of Credit for alerting me about the Chime Card).

This is an interesting card, sort of a hybrid between Plink and AMEX Offers for You.  Let that “sync” in for a little bit.  However, unlike Plink and AMEX Offers for You, you do not need to add the offers to your wallet or save the offers to your account to participate in Chime’s offers.  In addition, you do not get paid in Plink Points, instead, you receive instant cash back right on your Chime Card.  Take a look at these offers (offers available as of 7/8/2014):

Also, I wanted to share that my experiment was successful.  2 $250 PayPal withdrawals to my Serve “bank account” counted as direct deposits and earned me a $50 cash back bonus.  To learn more about this promo, please click here.

Serve $50 Direct Deposit

To get you started in the right direction, find the direct deposit from on Serve, copy the routing and account numbers, and add the “bank account” to your PayPal account.

Have a great night everyone!
