Bluebird and Serve Daily/Monthly Limits Reset at 9PM PST

This has been known for a while, but I thought I would share again.  All daily and monthly limits for Bluebird and Serve reset at 9PM PST or 12AM EST.  Here are my latest transactions from 10 minutes ago.

Serve Loads and Bill Payments

As of right now, it is technically June 1 in Bluebird’s and Serve’s database, so go wild.

Here are my Sunday errands, so please keep me on track:

  1. Create a blog posts for my San Diego Meet Up next Saturday night.  I need to put together a list to determine how many people are coming so I can make a dinner reservation.
  2. This shouldn’t take too long, but I want to reorganize some of my pages, specifically the pages under the How To Guides and Credit Card tabs.  I want to spread out the pages across these 4 tabs: How To Guides: Miles/Points, How To Guides: Cash Back, How To Guides: Everything, and Credit Cards.  I need to set up redirects so old URLs redirect to new URLs addresses.
  3. Lastly and probably the most overdue/major headache for me is to start catching up on my trip reports.  I am proposing that I do one week straight of nothing besides trip reports.  I made myself a deal that I would post at least 1 trip report per day before I mention any other travel-related news.  This is going to be tough.

That’s it for me.  Have a great Saturday night or a sleepy Sunday morning.

    Hey Grant,
I thought the monthly limit is a rolling 30 days total. Can you expand a little on your comment?

    Hey Grant,

I tried reloading my Bb w Staples but was denied. I have heard that Walmarts are now not allowing reloads with gift cards. Also, are you sure that monthly allotments reset today? According to my statement my BB is set for the 5th. Maybe that’s jjst statement day?

    Thx!

I think the monthly limits and the statement dates are unrelated. You can test it out by doing an online debit card load to your Bluebird Card and seeing if it goes through today. See my post from yesterday for the current status of loading gift cards to Bluebird/Serve cards.

Never seen this before. Is this new and does anybody know what it is about? Got this email right after the BB confirmation email.

I have never heard of it either and a google search came up with nothing. Wasn’t something I signed up for and did not recieve this email with my last load two days ago. I checked my BB account thinking the message makes it sound like there would be some new thing to track on the account and there does not appear to be anything new having to do with Walmart Buck$.
I’ll report back if I find anything out but also would appreciate any info that someone in the know may have!

I would just take a screenshot of the email and tweet it to @walmart and ask for any info about that service. Maybe it is a new service coming out shortly.

Just got the same thing. Loaded 2 VGC to my BB account and got an e-mail saying I now have 1,000 Walmart Bucks whatever that is. Googled it, but got tired trying to figure it out. I’ll take it if it’s free though.
