(Hotel Review) Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport (Club Carlson 55 Euros/Night)
After a short flight from Rome, I stayed at a very affordable airport hotel. The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle to/from the hotel and the airport that leaves every 30 minues. It runs from 6AM to midnight every day. Unfortunately, my flight landed after midnight and the airport shuttle was no longer running.
I ended up taking a taxi from the aiport to the hotel that cost 25 Euros, which seems like a lot for such a short trip.
Anyways, at check-in, the front desk representative mentioned that they have a 2 for 1 special on their breakfast buffee during the weekend. Instead of paying 21.50 Euros per person, you pay 21.50 Euro for 2 people. We decided to eat breakfast there and the selection was very good. I would definitely pay the 2 for 1 price again.
After checking in, we went up to our room (free upgrade to a business suite) on the second floor. After a long day, I was glad to see some complimentary chocolate desserts and a large bottle of water.
Here are photos of the room:

The toilet is actually around the corner near the front door of the room.
Here is the gloomy/cloudy view from the room:
The room was very comfy, came at a great price, and had a complimentary airport shuttle. If I needed a good night sleep by Amsterdam Shiphol Airport again, I would defintely come back. Hopefully this stay will count toward Club Carlson’s current 3 night stay promotion.

Why does Europe install these half glass doors for their bath/shower combos? You would think by now that they have figured out that water gets all over the floor from this design?
Haha, apparently not. It never makes sense to me.
