Short answer: downgrade your American Express Membership Reward credit card to the AMEX EveryDay or AMEX EveryDay Preferred credit card to keep your Membership Reward points alive.

I saw that too. She swiped the clear side not the side with the stripe. Good eye JY.
Only value I see with these new cards is that I won’t have to transfer my MR points when I cancel my MB Platinum later this year.
