Another Reason to go to Staples… 11 Reams of Free Printer Paper

As if you didn’t need *another* reason to go to Staples.  There is currently a FAR (free after rebate) deal going on at Staples for a ton of paper.

Staples Paper

Here are the 2 coupons you need (Staples Coupon.pdf):

Staples Coupon Free Paper

You can actually purchase 2 of the large 5-ream boxes and 1 single ream of paper with the coupons above.  With the coupons, you will save $23.97 on your order.

Staples Receipt

As far as the rebate goes, the single ream of paper will get you a $3.80 rebate check and the big boxes of paper will get you a $16 prepaid Visa gift card.  Not bad for a short trips to Staples.  (Caution: the big boxes weight around 20 pounds each, so be careful lifting them).

If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day!

P.S. only 2 more days for Staples purchases to earn you Plink Points (link).

Just found that strictly it was not free since whatever % of tax I paid.. but with less than $3, it was great.

Thank you Grant. I bought two packs 5-ream paper on one receipt. Should I submit rebate application twice online? Or just once? Will I receive 2@16 visa gift cards? Thank you,

I did everything together, that way you get less emails. If you bought everything on one receipt, then submit everything together. You will probably get 1 $32 Visa gift card, but it is possible they send 2 $16 Visa gift cards.

      Quote from their website:

If you purchased more than one of same product or different products with the same Rebate Offer Number you will only need to enter the Rebate Offer Number once. The system will identify the correct quantity and products associated with the Rebate Offer Number.

These are “Staples Easy Rebates” and I have had really good success getting the rebates. Much better than other mail in rebate companies. Submit online and you are almost certain to get the rebate paid out.

Can you do this if you did the same offer a few months ago? I got a $42 prepaid Visa giftcard in the mail… would be nice, but I’d rather not put out if I’m not elligible…

I believe every Staples rebate has a 7 day purchase window. After that purchase window closes, they create a new purchase window. If you make separate purchases in each purchase window, you will be eligible, even if the purchase windows are back to back weeks.

Great timing, Grant. I was just about to run out of paper in my home office. I bought the same 3 items you did, but the Staples guy told me the rebate is good for up to 4 items each. I was in a hurry and it’ll probably take me awhile to go through all the papers, so I didn’t try. So, it’s possible that you can get 24 reams of paper for free!

Yes, you might be right. The coupon says limit 2 5-ream boxes, but the rebate receipt says limit 4. I really don’t need that much paper, so I would go with limit 2 (unless you actually need that much paper).

I just got this deal but unfortunately the cashier made a mistake and only took 9.99 off for one of the boxes. Unfortunately now I have to go back but thanks for the deal.

@Dan – I took a look at the receipt and the cashier said you only have one coupon for the realm and I told her that why do I need to print two coupon since the coupon said limited two and then she took it off for me…if anyone want less hassle, just print two coupons for the realm

Yes, I believe you have to ask them to scan the coupon twice. They can scan the same coupon twice instead of you printing the same coupon twice.
