I have some good news and some bad news to share…

The Bad News

My blog is currently hosted by BlueHost on a shared server along with hundreds/thousands of other websites and blogs.  The shared server is currently experiencing some technical difficulties right now which began last Thursday.  This technical issue has caused some of my pages and images to load very slowly.  The downtime has also broken my RSS data feed which is what Boarding Area and Prior2Boarding use to share my posts on their pages.

The Good News

After visiting the House of Miles team last week and speaking with their technical team over the last few days, I have decided to move my blog to the Boarding Area servers.  This should fix any RSS data feed issues, allow faster image and page loading speeds, and allow the House of Miles team to easily fix any issues that come up in the future.  

travelwithgrant.com will soon become travelwithgrant.boardingarea.com.  Even though my website URL is changing, my blog posts will still appear on Prior2Boarding for the foreseeable future.  I am also in the process of moving to a new theme/template for my blog, that I hope will be a big improvement in design and functionality.

The Moving Process

As of right now, all my blog content is being downloaded and moved over to the Boarding Area servers and should be up soon-ish.  After the move is complete, all the pages, posts, images, and comments will be available.  In the meantime, I am disabling comments and I won’t be able to upload or post any new content until the move is complete.  If you bookmarked any of my pages or posts, the bookmark link will redirect you to the new location after the move is complete.
