Chase really screwed up Quick Pay with Zelle. It doen’t work. Since my grandson and I bank with Chase, I asked him to send me his insurance payment thru Quick Pay. There is nothing quick about it. After a week of trying to send me his payment, he finally got it to work, but sent the wrong amount. So, I told him not to worry that I would not accept the money, but I never got a notification until the following day, hours later. So in the mean time, I dicided to send him a request for the correct amount thinking that I would just not accept the money he sent. When I finally got the text message, hours later, I opened my Chase app with the intension of diclining the money, but was not given an option. Instead, the money was showing in my account as “pending” pending? What do you mean ‘pending’! I Thought this was a quick way of receiving your money. I have used Quick Pay in the past and it worked great, it was wonderful. And now, it really su&$% and I don’t want anyting to do with it.
    Sincerly, frustrated

I’m sorry that Chase QuickPay is not working well in your situation. If you are both enrolled with Zelle / Chase QuickPay, sending money between accounts should be very quick.

I’m experiencing problems with Zelle payments, in that someone is sending them but I can’t receive them. Though we’ve been using Quick Pay and more recently (& relunctantly) Zelle with success…it will not work now. Payment is “pending” on their end – super fast, right? – but never posts to my account. Now my checking is overdrawn because Zelle stopped working, unbeknownst to me. Such a headache.

I have send money through chase zellepay but my receiver didn’t get the money after two weeks .
I don’t know what the hell is going on with Chase zellepay. Why it’s taking too much time although the amount deducted from my account and it’s says completed but otherside my friend didn’t rcved the money or any email. It’s very frastating.

Does your friend have a Zelle account already set up? As long as you sent the payment to their email address or phone number, the transfer should be almost instant.

Quick pay seems to be ironic branding. My wife and I have separate Chase accounts. Before the changes outlined in this post, we could send money in minutes. Now it takes 4 business days. Unbelievable and the opposite of convenient.
