Towering over us all are many impressive structures! These towers even have their own federation. It’s called the World Federation of Towers and its membership lists 54 great towers.
I heard about this list a while ago. Then Brian Cohen at The Gate wrote about it and jogged my memory. I’ve been to 15 of the towers, so I’ve barely scratched the surface. And speaking of jogging my memory, if simply visiting the towers isn’t enough for you, you can “tower run” them! Learn more about the great towers here or check out Brian’s article and see how many you’ve visited. And if you’ve ever done a tower run, do let us know what that was like and if you’d ever do it again!
Here is my list:
Ruins of Tower of Babel (don’t remember the dates but really!)
1986 Mexico City, Torre Latino (during World Cup)
1990s Seattle Space Needle
2000 NYC Twin Towers WTC
2007 Bangkok State Tower (where Hangover II was filmed later).
2008 Vancouver Harbour Centre
2016 New York, ESB
2017 Dallas, Reunion Tower
That’s a bunch of towers. I’m impressed you can recall the years :)
Used the info on my Flickr photos to identify the years. The Vancouver Harbour Centre was actually in 2004. I posted the photos in 2008.
