Good afternoon everyone, happy Friday! I just received an email from Hilton Grand Vacations where you can get a 3 night stay in Orlando or Las Vegas + 25,000 Hilton Points for $149. Part of the offer requires attending a 2 hour timeshare presentation (please see the terms and conditions before booking). I’m not sure if this matters, but I am in California, I have Hilton Diamond Elite Status, and I have an American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card. Here is the email I received from Hilton Grand Vacations:
Here is the short version of the terms and conditions from the email:
Guests must purchase by September 13, 2021 to enjoy a 4-Day/3-Night stay for $149 plus tax in Orlando, Florida or Las Vegas, Nevada at a participating hotel within the Hilton portfolio of brands (valued up to $175-$500/night). Guests will receive 25,000 Hilton Honors™ Points (valued at $250) after attending the Personal Preview. Redemption of points is subject to Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions and valid membership.
You have up to 12 months from date of purchase to travel. Please read complete Details of Participation. As part of your vacation package, you’ll attend a two-hour Personal Preview and sales presentation, where you’ll learn how you and your family can enjoy the many benefits and privileges of vacation ownership with Hilton Grand Vacations. Hilton Grand Vacations Club LLC is the exchange agent.
THIS MATERIAL IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING TIMESHARE INTERESTS IN HILTON GRAND VACATIONS RESORTS IN FLORIDA or NEVADA. THE COMPLETE OFFERING TERMS ARE IN AN OFFERING PLAN AVAILABLE FROM THE SPONSOR. Sponsor of this promotion is Hilton Resorts Corporation located at 6355 MetroWest Blvd, Orlando, Florida 32835.
This is not an offer or solicitation to any person residing in a state where the project is not yet registered.
Here is the landing page for the offer, showing the Orlando offer.
Here is the same offer, showing the Las Vegas offer.
Let’s look at the Las Vegas offer a little closer. It looks like you need to purchase the Hilton offer by September 13, 2021. Here is the link to the full terms and conditions.
The all in price with tax comes out to $168.94. I didn’t go any further to check availability, but I am sure availability is pretty good right now.
It’s hard to know if this is a good deal, but I would put a value of 25,000 Hilton Points at around $125 (0.5 CPP). $125 in Hilton Honors Points basically cuts down the cost to around $44 plus the value of your time in the 2 hour timeshare presentation. I’m actually considering a trip to Las Vegas in the fall when the weather cools down, but I’m guessing there will be another Hilton offer in September or October. If you have never attended a timeshare presentation, they are not that bad. Just make sure you stick to your guns and don’t buy a timeshare (read How to Profit from 2 Timeshare Presentations in Hawaii). If you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Have a great weekend everyone!
Don’t do it. It’s a pain to sit thru. They don’t have room available for the package unless paying to upgrade package. First, they tried to put us in the hotel off the strip. However they had the room if I paid additional $127 from what I already paid for the package of $199. What a scam! Ended up paying $326 for 3 nights. I could find Mlife special rates which would be cheaper than $326. Never again falling into this game!
Hi Leon, thanks for sharing your experience. I’m sorry the deal turned out to be a bust. I hope you still had a fun time in Las Vegas.

Stumbled upon your blog and here I am in 2024 about to go to the Elara. Can’t wait to see what has/hasn’t changed! They kept sending me emails telling me I hadn’t confirmed my stay (even though I have paid in full) and I am in danger of losing my reservation. I sent an email to their attorney and that did the trick! They “found” my confirmation! Praises!
Hi Jan, have a great time at the Elara and just say no during the timeshare presentation :)
