Great Bridge Group Update – Add a Debit Card to Earn More Free Cash Back

Please read the above posts if you are curious how you can make up to $240 each year shopping. Anyways, I have been using Great Bridge Group since June 29 and have already earned $32.34. I should be receiving my first payout at the end of this month. A follow-up post will be out at the end of this month.

Anyways, the exciting news was an email from Great Bridge Group instructing me to add a Debit Card to my account and they would increase my payout by 50%! Currently, their payout percentage is 1/10th of 1%, with the new addition, it will be 1.5/10th of 1%. Not a huge difference, but more free money is more free money. At least they did not lower the payout percentage.

There were no restrictions in the email, so if you have not done so already, I recommend adding your debit card (along with all your other cards) to your Great Bridge Group account. As for “Debit Cards,” Bluebird, GoBank, PayPal, and other prepaid, reloadable debit cards did not work. Sorry to bust your bubble.

Remembering September 11

12 years ago today, I was in 6th grade.

I remember coming downstairs for breakfast and seeing the news on the TV. I couldn’t believe what I saw.

At school, our teacher turned on the TV and we all watched. I don’t remember for how long, but I don’t remember doing anything else that whole day.

Living in Southern California, far away from the terrible events that happened on the East Coast, made it hard to believe what was going on. I didn’t seem possible.

Every time they show stories about the World Trade Center, I get emotional. Every time.

Now that my dad has the SPG card, he is working on the $5,000 minimum spending requirement to receive the full 30,000 SPG Starpoints. He received the first 10,000 SPG Starpoints after his first purchase.

I have been trying to transfer SPG points from his SPG account to my SPG account and was glad to see that Award Wallet has updated both of our accounts.

IcelandAir is Increasing their Route Network by 18% in 2014 (New Destinations Edmonton, Vancouver and Geneva)

I received an email from my favorite Iceland-based airline, IcelandAir, that detailed their new route network and plans to expand their schedule in 2014 by 18%.

Here is their (bow tie shaped) route network with a lot of service from the United States to Europe and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Business Extra, like Delta’s SkyBonus program, allows businesses and “businesses” to earn extra miles for their employees and “employees” flights. The miles are not normal redeemable miles. They are earned in a separate mileage program and intended to reward businesses for their employees travel on that airlines.
