Good morning everyone, it is a very busy morning.  Alibaba (BABA) IPO opens today, lots of attention in the financial markets.  All the attention is overshadowing Apple’s iPhone 6/Plus debut.  My iPhone 6 should be arriving any minute now from FedEx.  I am catching a flight this afternoon to Las Vegas to attend Boarding Area’s Conference (BACon).  With that said, here are some random news from the past week…

Here is an email you never want to get – an email from Chase asking if you made the following purchases.  I didn’t make these purchases, uh oh.  I clicked the big red NO button and called Chase to ask for a new card.

After a quick call to Chase, they were able to cancel the card and send me a new card.  Should be arriving today via UPS Next Day Air.  Once again, Chase has *the best* customer service of any credit card company.  I cannot remember the last time I was dissapointed by their customer service.  Thank you Chase!

My dad received the following targeted offer.  Spend $600 or more at grocery stores and get 2 Admirals Club Day Passes.  I have 2 Citi AA Exec Cards and my mom has a Citi AA Exec Card, so my dad doesn’t really need these passes.  These passes do sell for quite a bit on Ebay though…

It was my dad’s birthday last week and Chime sent him a nice birthday present – $3.00 off a Starbucks drink.  Sweeeeet!
