Marriott Fans, I Need Help!

Ready for a rant? And this isn’t even about the Marriott/SPG merger, either. I’m not a Marriott loyalist, but I’m no hotel newbie either. It’s a simple task I should be able to do that I can’t. And I’m frustrated. I challenged Grant, as well, and he couldn’t figure it out. I can’t find an email address for a Marriott property so I can email the hotel directly. Surely this has to be doable?? I can do it with Hyatt hotels, and Hilton, too. And used to be able to easily find email addresses at SPG properties. So I’m asking you TWG readers and Marriott loyalists……how the heck do you find an email address for a Marriott property?? It’s not on Google nor on the hotel website. Oh yeah, it’s the Copenhagen Marriott! But I’m hoping someone will be able to tell us in general how to find email addresses for Marriott hotels. Thanks, everyone, for hopefully putting an end to this rant :)

For that particular property, I had to Email marriott intl. customer service to reach out to the hotel (took about 1 week to get a response)!

This is crazy, Rio. Did the hotel then email you directly? I can find the hotel manager’s name online but no email address. Do you have a hotel email address for the CPH Marriott? Is this the case with Marriott hotels in general? Thanks so much.

iv, you seem like a Marriott fan. Does Marriott make it this hard to connect with hotels directly or is this property unusual? Much thanks.

That’s the name of the GM I found online. Where did you find the email address or is this the way the Marriott hotel email system works in general? Thank you!

Shelli, I always just tweet at a property and ask for the GM’s or property’s email address. 100% success rate so far in getting a response within 30 minutes.

Your suggestion makes total sense, Nicholas. Thanks. I was just astounded that we couldn’t find a simple email address for the hotel when it seemed as though it should be posted with their basic hotel information on their site or in the confirmation emails they send out after a hotel booking. All these responses to my rant have been awesome. I know what I’ll be doing later tonight thanks to TWG readers :)

I assume this has something to do with the fact that a particular Plat Amassador guest was promised a suite upgrade that wouldn’t be ready until later in the day….only to return and be assigned an Executive floor room instead?
