Good morning everyone, I hope your week is going well. Yesterday, I received an email from Wyndham Vacation Resorts for a 3 night stay in Orlando, Myrtle Beach, Branson, Smoky Mountains, Las Vegas, San Antonio, or Destin + 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points for $199. These vacation packages require attending a 2 hour timeshare presentation (please see the terms and conditions before booking). I’m not sure if this matters, but I am in California, I have Wyndham Rewards Diamond Elite Status and have the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card. You need to book your reservation by August 22 and you must complete your stay within 12 months. Here is the email I received from Wyndham Vacation Resorts.
Here is the short version of the terms and conditions from the email:

I selected the Las Vegas package to do a dummy booking.
There is a 7 day cancellation period, if you decide to change your mind after booking.
Here is the short version of the fine print.
I picked a random 3 night stay and then I was shown 6 different properties. I believe most of these properties are part of Caesars Rewards, which is a partner of Wyndham Rewards. Most of these hotels are on the older side, so I selected The LINQ Hotel since that is the newest and coolest looking (in my opinion).
The all in price with tax came out to $220.07.
If you already had plans to go to one of these 6 locations, I would definitely look into these timeshare vacation packages. I value 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points at $150-$200, if you plan on using the points to book a 1 bedroom vacation property with Vacasa (read My Experience Booking Vacasa Vacation Rentals with Wyndham Rewards Points). I don’t have any plans to visit Las Vegas or any of the locations mentioned in this post, so I will pass on the offer, but if you are, this could be a great deal. Just make sure you stick to your guns and don’t buy a timeshare. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Have a great day everyone!
Great post buddy, and you are 100% correct, NEVER buy these timeshares at these timeshare presentations, you can buy the exact same timeshares for literally $1 on eBay, and I mean literally. But at the same time, do not sell yourself short. Everyone can get a lot more then just 15,000 bonus Wyndham points, all you have to do is ask. I will be staying at the Club Wyndham in Vegas for 4/days & 3/nights which cost me $179. After sitting through the 2 hour presentation I will receive not only 15,000 bonus Wyndham points, but a $200 AmEx gift card, and a $100 “Spend a Night on Us” rebate coupon which can be used at any Wyndham property. So ask for as much as you can for sitting through timeshare presentations, I know they drive people crazy, but I enjoy them. One more thing, if you are doing the Wyndham timeshare stay in Las Vegas, you are correct in that the Linq is the best hotel option by far if you want to stay right on the strip, but Club Wyndham, just off the strip and right next to TopGolf is by far the best option of locations to stay at when utilizing this Wyndham timeshare deal. Just my two cents.
Hi Jim, I really appreciate your thoughts on timeshares and on this Wyndham vacation package deal. Sounds like you got a great deal. How did you get the extra $200 AMEX GC and $100 “spend a night on us” rebate coupon?
