Grant, the link from this page to Amazon Prime is broken. I tried it three times and it takes me back to your blog with “The page you are looking for has been renamed or removed.”

Thanks for the heads up Brant, I just fixed both links. Check back on Saturday when the links go live to the discounted Amazon Prime and free TV streaming.

I was previously a prime member (last year) but not anymore. Can I buy this @ 25% off and have it start later like August 2015?

    Thanks!

No, I think the yearly subscription starts as soon as you complete your purchase. You used to be able to buy Prime Memberships for others, but I am not sure if that option still exists.

My Prime membership expires in April. If I buy the $72 membership this Saturday, will it extend my current membership a year (end in April 2016) or will it end 1 year from purchase date (1/24/16)?

    CNET suggested this…

The workaround involves disabling Amazon Prime auto-renew for your account, and purchasing a gift membership at the current price for Amazon Prime. But instead of having the gift card delivered the day you order it, schedule delivery for the day after your Amazon Prime subscription expires.

The auorenew cancel and then send the gift to yourself the day after your prime expires works. Just did it. Now I’m covered through to Sep 2016,
