Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I got an email from Chime this morning with new offers. Here is a screenshot showing all the available offers in my Chime Card account, as of 9/12/2015. Some of the best offers are:
- $3 off $15 at Panera Bread
- $1 free Starbucks credit
- $5 off $50 at Best Buy
- $5 off $50 at Comcast, Charter, Cox, DirecTV, Time Warner Cable, and Dish Network
Here is what the Cox offer looks like, but all the telecom offers are basically the same.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Have a great weekend everyone!
Keep up the great writing, Grant!
I love this hobby because the “impossible” or improbable has now become available. I’ve been going abroad about 4x a year since I got serious about miles and points, often with friends and family. I actually feel like there’s enough travel plans in my schedule now– something I never thought possible.
Since none of us know what’s around the next corner in life, I would say “You’re never too old or too young to enjoy the benefits of nearly free travel. Whether near or far, for a weekend or a week or a year… Just do it!”
Exactly, just do it. Go out and travel, see the world and make last memories.
I really hate this company now. It’s been 6+ months without offers, and they continue to tell me my account is fine and to keep checking back regularly for “new offers.” I’ve explained that I’m not seeking new offers, just CURRENT ones, to no avail. I asked if they’d like me to contact CFPB, and they didn’t reply to that at all. I’ll have to take that as a good reason to do so.
You can try reaching out to the CFPB but I’m not sure if that will help at all. Keep me posted if you do reach out to them.
