The Radisson Blu Dublin was one of my favorites. Great breakfast as you mentioned, but also in a good location, great rooms, and I got a sweet room upgrade on my last stay.
I hadn’t stayed at many Radisson Blu hotels early in my travels. For some reason I didn’t give them the credit they deserved, until I spent a few nights in Prague. Love the hotel, the location, the styling. Now I seek out this brand when it’s available now. High on my bucket list is the Radisson Blu in Split, Croatia. We live in the desert so we live for vacations by the sea. This beachfront property looks absolutely divine. I’ll write up a trip report when we go!
> What Club Carlson hotel was your favorite to stay at and why?
My best stay with CC was in Prague when I stayed for 4 nights, using the “last night free” promo that was still available back then. Hotel is pretty cozy and in good neighborhood, pretty close to the central sights and you can find parking in the nearby university. We also got upgraded to the executive floor and really liked the balcony!
I wish the weather was better in May )))
My favorite is Radisson Martinique in New York. I would go there again if I won
My favorite Club Carlson hotel so far is the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town, South Africa. Why – the location is excellent, I was upgraded to a sea/harbor view as a Gold Elite (via credit card), and stayed two nights using the last night free benefit for only 50,000 points total. Today, that room is 105,000 points per night if not upgraded. Breakfast was not complimentary with the upgrade, but hard to beat the view! Tied for second are the Radisson Blu Hotel Madrid Prado and the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Copenhagen. Both had premium locations near attractions in the centers of their respective cities. Slight nod to Madrid as the staff were considerably nicer than Copenhagen. For a free night, I’d stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront South Africa again. If the requirement were only domestic, I’ve not tried the Radisson Blu Aqua in Chicago, so that would be my choice. Thanks for the giveaway. Cheers.
We stayed one night at the Plaza on the River hotel in London. We had 2 rooms for 1 night with our 4 kids. It was perfect. Large room with King plus pull out sofa. What was great for us is that it had a kitchen and a washer and dryer. Just one “bridge” down from Westminster Bridge, short walk to tube station. We loved watching the sun set on the Thames at night. We would stay there again for sure with a free night certificate.
My favorite is the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport. Close to the airport, restaurants and malls.
My favorite to stay was the Radisson Hotel Ottawa Parliament Hill. I would want to stay at the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson in the French Quarter in New Orleans as I want to visit New Orleans
– Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town in South Africa is my favorite Club Carlson hotel so far for its fantastic location and great services. My husband and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary there last summer and we cannot wait to go back there again! Our room was upgraded to a beautiful stunning ocean views suites for having Gold Elite status with CC credit card and then the hotel management surprised us with champagne, fruit plate and bed decoration with rose petals!!! We were so touched and overwhelmed by their hospitality.
– If I had a free night at any Club Carlson hotel, I’d love to go back to Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town again for its gorgeous waterfront location and beyond top notch staff service!
1. Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai. I stayed there for two nights last winter and booked it before the devaluation of Club Carlson points. The building is gorgeous. My room was upgraded to a suite due to my Gold status.Although no free breakfast was offered, it has a very gorgeous bar (rotating) on top floors.
2. Radisson Blu Chicago. The building itself is beautiful due to the special wave-like design. The lobby and bar are both terrific. My girlfriend stayed there once and told me it is a must-go.
What Club Carlson hotel was your favorite to stay at and why?
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Cesme was my favorite! We had our honeymoon there and made memories to last a lifetime.
If you had a free night at any Club Carlson hotel, which hotel would you stay at and why?
If it was locally I would definitely chose Radisson Blu Chicago as I haven’t had the chance to to stay there yet and I’ve been reading great reviews about it.
If it was international: I would chose Radisson Blu Champs Elysees Paris since it is close to where the action is and we are planning a vacation next summer in France!
Radisson Blu Edinburgh – great location.
Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport – conveniently located next to the AMS airport.
I would like to stay at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, New Orleans French Quarter, LA for a weekend of luxury and great food and historical site-seeing.
We just had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Sydney last month. I’ve stayed at other Radisson Blu hotels in Europe but this is my fave so far as it is in close proximity to a lot that Sydney has to offer, including the Harbour Bridge & the Opera House.
After many stays with Radisson Blu in Europe, my favorite one is by far the Art’otel Amsterdam. The hotel is beautifully designed and in brand new condition. The location is great -across from the central station and yet very quiet. The wervice is the best out of all Radission I have stayed (over 10 ). There is one complimentary bottle of wine for eating at their restaurant. Room services twice a day like a five star hotel. There is illy coffee and other snacks for free. There is a gallery in the basement and free spa 24 hours to use.
I would love to use it for a stay in Vienna, Austria, on the way to Croatia!
I would stay at the Radisson in Niagara Falls. Never been there and it would be AMAZING!!
Thanks
I like radisson blu in Chongqing China, very easy to get into the city center
Thanks
Haven’t stayed at a lot of Radissons but I love Radisson Duluth, MN mainly due to it’s great views from the revolving restaurant at the top. Would stay again anytime!
I would love to stay at the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Phoenix . Beautiful hotel and the ammenities are fantastic.
I’ve tried a few Carlson properties in London, Madrid, Amsterdam (well Schiphol) and a few others- but my favorite was the London Mayfair. Great location, the room was perfect (shower, bathtub and TV in the bathtub), and breakfast was not bad at all either! Will be back at some point!
The best Club Carlson hotel I have stayed in is the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World. It is on the famous Nanjing Road West so you have easy access to malls, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast spread was extensive with a great mix of Western and Chinese dishes. It is also right above the People’s Square subway station, so you have easy access to other parts of the city.
The Radisson Blu Berlin was your favorite hotel because of the huge, huge, beautiful aquarium centerpiece in the lobby.
My favorite stay was at the Radisson Blu Es in Rome. Going back in two months.
1. My favorite Club Carlson hotel is Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel in Reykjavik. We spent two nights in a corner suite in the middle of June. The room was quite spacious especially by European standards and the beds were comfortable. Their breakfasts were delicious and fulfilling. Our stay was on a weekend so we had a chance to experience infamous noisy parties in the center of Reykjavik. Yes, we heard some inebriated party-goers until 3-4 am but it wasn’t as bad as I expected or maybe we were just too tired after the flight and sightseeing.
2. I would love to stay at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney for convenience of location and because of good reviews.
If I had a free night at any Club Carlson hotel, I’d stay at the Radisson Blu Royal Dublin. You had me hooked at “amazing breakfast spread”.
If I had a free night stay, I will redeem it at Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer St. for its excellent location. Walking distance to major attractions, and many local stores, coffee shops, and such around the hotel. I can spend hours walking just checking things out.
Some people might find my favorite Club Carlson hotel, which is Park Inn by Radisson Resort & Conference Center Orlando, as my favorite place to stay is a bit surprising, because it’s not an upscale hotel like Radisson Blu, but for me it does have a great redemption rate (cat 1 – only 9k points!) and located in a great location close to Walt Disney World (only 2 miles) and they also provides complimentary shuttle service to the theme park. While we stayed there, we were amazed and happy because we were upgraded to Magical View Room! The view from the room was so amazing, you can see the animal kingdom’s area and also get a clear view of fireworks show at night. Staffs were very helpful and friendly and give our kids a treat too. Our kids were so happy and we will definitely go back there again for some magical adventure!
My favorite Club Carlson stay was in Country Inn and Suites by Carlson, in Mumbai, India.
Apart from the great hospitality, It will forever be my favorite because it introduced me to this amazing Hotels group in April 2015. Never have I used any other Hotel since then.
If I had a free night, I would love to stay at the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort in Mauritius. Looks amazingly beautiful.
The white and blue color combination of the Resort and the Ocean is just mesmerizing
I get married in December and am planning my honeymoon in Mauritius. No prices for guessing where I am going to stay :)
The Radisson Blu in Chicago is amazing! We visited this spring and I would love to go back. The room is stunning and the location is perfect.
If I could stay at any Club Carlson hotel I would stay at Radisson in Branson, MO. We love going to Branson and are actually planning on going in December.
A few years ago I saw that Toronto was named one of the best places to visit in the world. Since that time I have wanted to visit Toronto, but have not put a trip together yet.I think I would use these points to finally go.
Thanks, Grant! It is probably very appropriate that I am posting this comment to thank you and Club Carlson from the Radisson Blu Alcron in Prague where we have been having a wonderful stay. Being upgraded to a corner junior suite with a balcony has made it even better. Shout outs to Jana, Michal and Vera, all of whom went out of their way to make our stay delightful and memorable. We hope to be back!
That’s awesome to hear, I hope Club Carlson sees your comment.
