Great Wyndham Timeshare Vacation Package Deal: 3 Days / 2 Nights for Only 7,500 Points (Book by Dec 26, Stay by Jan 2)

Good morning everyone, happy Friday!  I’ve written about this Wyndham timeshare vacation package deal a few times (September 8 and October 7), but they keep getting better and better each time.  With today’s update, there are 3 new properties participating in San Francisco, Poconos, and Atlantic City.  The details have remained the same.  You have to book by December 26 and complete your stay by January 2, 2021.  As a reminder, you can get a 3 day / 2 night vacation package for only 7,500 Wyndham Rewards Points.  That’s 7,500 points total, not per night.  You must book through this special link and attend a 2 hour timeshare presentation.  Keep reading to see the 9 cities / resorts participating in this timeshare vacation package deal.

Here are the terms and conditions for this vacation package deal.  You can have up to 2 adults and 2 children (under age 18) in your room and you must attend a 2 hour timeshare presentation.  You will also need to cover any room taxes and parking fees, if those are charged at the resort you select.

This extended deal covers Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, so if you are looking for a getaway during one of those times, this is a great deal.  The closest location is in San Francisco, which is about 45-60 minutes away from me.  Here is the calendar for November and December.  I can get any 2 night stay for free between November 14 and December 31.  There is also availability for January 1-3.

The room is a 1 bedroom suite that has 1 queen bed and 1 pull out sofa bed.

The total cost is only 7,500 Wyndham Rewards Points.  The credit card on file is for incidentals and in case you skip the 2 hour timeshare presentation.

If you live close by to any of these resorts, I would definitely take advantage of this vacation package since 7,500 Wyndham Rewards Points is a great price considering most of these properties cost 15,000 to 30,000 Wyndham Rewards Points per night, for regular stays.  You also need to keep in mind the 2 hour timeshare presentation.  I don’t mind sitting through the timeshare presentations and find them 50% interesting and 50% eye-rolling worthy.  Just say no thank you a few times and walk out after 2 hours.  If you have any questions about timeshare presentations or these vacation packages, please leave a comment below.  Have a great weekend everyone!

    Hey Grant, long appreciated your blog, but not this time…. (see my long tirade about a recent bad experience we had at one North Myrtle beach — over on DoC’s site — he does h/t you though for the alert, and I followed his link here.)

    We had stayed actually multiple Wyndham resorts at North Myrtle Beach, using our soon to expire Wyndham rewards stash….. (given the time of year, even landed suites for 15k…. great deal, without the timeshare deal, for really nice rooms — albeit side ocean view this or that….. (Great hotels, btw, but never mind) Once there, at the first place, we did get roped into a presentation, which we found an utterly abominable experience…. high pressure, few facts, no schedules of what you get, just scribbled notes, and a presumption that you’re a complete IDIOT, willing and able to be so quickly parted from your hard earned money….)

    A few red flags for everyone:

    a. With most time share promos, you RARELY get a nice room. (Have seen some of them where after you fall for it, they stick you in a partner inferior hotel…. your sales pitch might be at the nice resort, but your room might well not be. If you’re lucky enough to be at the sales pitch place, and you’re stay at any time close to peak season, expect to be stuck in a room with no view of the ocean (or at best, the side) — that is, if you’re lucky to get a room with a window at all. You get no guarantees….. just show up and see what’s available. (so lower the expectations of your readers — and guard your integrity)

    b. during these covid times, your food will be entirely up to you…. No free breakfast buffets before the presentation — just coffee and juice – if you’re lucky.

    c. at the presentations themselves, you’ll get hit with the “but wait, there’s more!” schtick, over and over and over….. You’ll likely get no idea just what you’d be getting in forking over $50,000.00 to $1000.000 up front (plus never specified annual maintenance fee contracts)

    (and I’m stopping there)

    Really surprised to see you hawking such miserably deceptive, outrageously high pressure sales pitches. If I’ve learned one thing in this (otherwise happy hobby of traveling with Grant — and Drew Macomber), it’s read everything, teach yourself….. do the numbers…. and yes, roll the eyes.

    With these Wyndham time share promos, you’ll be expected to do the exact opposite — to suspend your commonsense for two hours, to sign away your future (or take out a 17.99% second mortgage to pay for the damn thing)…. all while not being given an opportunity to really understand what the noose you’re about to hand around your neck.

    Again, please know Grant I’m a big fan of your blog. Your recent argument for taking advantage of the Radisson bonus promo to sell off points was terrific….. (with the Shanghai’d Radisson here in the states being a miserable shell of its former self)…. Ah, but I didn’t see your post in time… Must keep reading more.

      Hi Escot, thank you very much for your great and detailed comment. Let me try to respond to some of your points.

      A) yes, you are correct. I rarely get a great room for timeshare vacation packages, which I think is ironic since their goal is to get you to become an owner. Why not try to wow me with a great room before your timeshare pitch?

      B) I’m not expecting much for breakfast at any hotel during the coronavirus pandemic.

      C) Yes, the numbers and lingo are usually so hard to follow that I give up trying half way through and try to run out the clock.

      If you can say no a few times and not get sucked in to the timeshare pitches, I think the timeshare vacation packages are great deals. I’ve gone on several over the years and would repeat them all. But they are not for everyone, so you just have to know yourself and decide if you have the willpower to stand up to the BS and call them out when the numbers just don’t make sense.

      I think I was the only blog to write about selling Radisson Points for GCs, but I’m hoping the deal comes around again so more people can take advantage of the deal.

      Instead of paying cash for a timeshare vacation package (which is usually the case), you can pay only 7,500 Wyndham Rewards Points. This is a much better deal, in my opinion, since I don’t value the points very highly.
