New Chase Freedom Credit Card Design Available

Good morning everyone.  Yesterday, I received an email from Chase regarding a new Chase Freedom Credit Card design.  It looked pretty cool considering my old/current Chase Freedom Credit Card is a light blue color.  I visited a Chase branch yesterday afternoon and talked to a personal banker.  I asked him if he could order me a replacement card with the new design.  He made a call, but said they could not issue me a new card, it was only for new applications.  I thanked him for his time and decided to call the JPMorgan Chase Executive Line (the phone number on the back of the JPMorgan Chase Ritz Carlton Credit Card).  The rep was very professional and said he could send out a replacement card right away and offered to send it to me via UPS Next Day Air.

A few days ago, I had added my friend as an authorized user to my Chase Freedom Credit Card.  As luck would have it, his authorized user credit card was the new design for the Chase Freedom Credit Card.  I was a bit dissapointed because the card design from the image above makes the card look much more wavy than the card I received.

If you like the new design, call Chase and ask for a replacement card.  Do not say your credit card was lost or stolen, because you will be given a new credit card number.  If you say your card was damaged (from heavy credit card use), they will send a replacement credit card with the same credit card number.  If you have any questions about the new Chase Freedom Credit Card design, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

P.S. This is an old photo I have from when you go out to dinner with a bunch of travel hackers and the Chase Freedom Credit Card is offering 5x at restaurants that quarter…

  1. Not a Tree Hugger

Seriously? You ordered a replacement for a perfectly good card just so that you could have the “new” design? Why do you even care about something so trivial? While I can’t claim to be particularly sensitive to wacky environmental causes (e.g., taking a tree hostage to prevent its being cut down), this is just a giant middle finger to the Earth.

    Keep up the good work.

I think you should get a bidet, might help with all the blockage up your rear. It’s also a lot more environmentally friendly than toilet paper, which destroys a lot more trees than a single credit card.
