Good morning everyone, happy Friday and happy early Father’s Day. Sorry for being MIA (missing in action, not Miami International Airport) lately. I have a few posts lined up, so hopefully I will have time to publish a few articles this weekend and early next week. I wasn’t planning on talking about American Express offers (mainly because the offers have sucked for the last several months), but I ran into a few bugs this morning when looking at my American Express online account. When I went to look at my AMEX Offers on my American Express Platinum Charge Card, I saw only 4 AMEX Offers. Uh oh…
I clicked the “Available” and “Added to Card” links a few times on that card and some of my other AMEX cards and it just got worse from there. On this card, I only saw 2 AMEX Offers…
On this card, I only saw 1 AMEX Offer…
…And on this card, the AMEX Offers wouldn’t even load.
I logged out of my AMEX account and opened a Google Chrome Incognito window. I logged into my American Express account again and that seemed to fix the problem. All of a sudden, the AMEX Offers that I remember seeing in the past magically reappeared. Even in Google Chrome Incognito, after clicking around for a little bit, the bugs started to come back and the AMEX Offers were not showing entirely.
Luckily, I was able to find a few AMEX Offers worth mentioning on a few of my AMEX Cards. If you want to purchase or renew your UPS My Choice membership, this AMEX Offer might come in handy. AMEX has some serious technical problem. I have AMEX preferred and I made 31 purchase but they only reporting 25 so I misses the 50% bonus points. Call them up and it was a waste of time the “manager” did not know what he talked about and kept saying the purchase with extra bonus (3x for grocery) does not count even I told him most 25 of them are from grocery. I gave up and do not know how to contact them.
Try on Twitter. The social media team might be easier to communicate with and they might be more helpful.
