Good morning everyone, I hope your week is going well.  This morning, I received an email from Wyndham Vacation Resorts for a 3 night stay in Las Vegas, Orlando, Oceanside and 6 other cities + 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points for $149.  You have more destinations available and it’s $50 cheaper than the Wyndham Vacations Resorts deal I wrote about in September.  These vacation packages require attending a 2 hour timeshare presentation (please see the terms and conditions before booking).  You may be able to get an even better deal if you call the Wyndham Vacation Resorts phone number (1-877-393-8405).  The phone reps really want people to attend the timeshare presentation and have the power to give you more incentives, like more free points or a $100 Visa gift card.

I’m not sure if this matters, but I am in California, I have Wyndham Rewards Diamond Elite Status and I have the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Credit Card.  You need to book your reservation by November 24 and you must complete your stay within 12 months.  Here is the email I received from Wyndham Vacation Resorts:

As a kid, we used to drive down from Orange County to Oceanside and San Diego, so I would love to stay in Oceanside.  I selected the Oceanside package to do a dummy booking.

I looked through the calendar and there is very good availability if you avoid Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years holidays.

I picked a random 3 night stay in January and then I was shown a few different properties.  It looks like the Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort is the only Wyndham property, but there are also a few random IHG hotels available too.  I selected the Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort and continued my dummy booking.

Here is what the Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort looks like from the photos.  It looks like a nice resort to stay at and it’s very close to the beach.

The all in price with tax came out to $181.79.  The tax should differ depending on which state the property is located.

If you already had plans to go to one of these 9 destinations, I would definitely look into these timeshare vacation packages.  I value 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points at $150-$200, so you are almost breaking even before showing up.  I love Wyndham Rewards Points and like to use them to book 1 bedroom vacation rentals with Vacasa (read My Experience Booking Vacasa Vacation Rentals with Wyndham Rewards Points).  I don’t have any plans to visit any of these destinations in the coming months, so I will pass on this offer, but if you are, this could be a great deal.  Just make sure you stick to your guns and don’t buy a timeshare!  If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!
