These cards can be found at CVS, grocery stores, gas stations, and other stores.  They have a similar look and feel to the Vanilla Reload Cards, but these can only be loaded to your PayPal account.  They do have the same $3.95 activation fee per card.  Here is the front and back of the PayPal My Cash Card:

What’s on my Mind? Bluebird and Walmart, Credit Card Sign Up / Spending Bonuses, Mercedes Benz Key Rings, Panda Express, Panera Bread, AMEX Statement Credits, BA Avios, and the Grand Canyon

2014 New Years

What’s on my Mind? Bluebird and Walmart, Credit Card Sign Up / Spending Bonuses, Mercedes Benz Key Rings, Panda Express, Panera Bread, AMEX Statement Credits, BA Avios, and the Grand Canyon

Instead of posting several small blog posts, I decided to post everything here in 1 giant post.

1 – Which gift cards work at Walmart to reload a Bluebird Card?

Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post and shared their recent successes and failures of loading gift cards to Bluebird.  I compiled the results below. From looking at the list, it looks like every Visa gift card that you guys tried worked, so I am going to switch from buying $200 MasterCard gift cards issued by US Bank to buying $200 Visa gift cards issued by Metabank (Gift Card Mall).

WM BB Successes

I went to Walmart today (January 6) and loaded 2 $200 and a $500 Visa gift card successfully.

$200 Airline Reimbursement for AMEX Platinum Members

It’s January 1, so it’s time to set up your $200 airline reimbursement.  If you have an American Express Platinum (Personal, Business, or Mercedes Benz version), you qualify for a $200 airline reimbursement each calendar year (Jan 1 – Dec 31).  You can also purchase airline gift cards with your Platinum card and get that purchase reimbursed as well.  I will show you how to do that.

Go here and log into your American Express account.

Need Help Liquidating Gift Cards?

Happy holidays everyone!  If you are lucky (or maybe unlucky), you may have too many gift cards in your wallet.  Wouldn’t it be great to get all of your gift card balances on one card?

Here’s how…

You will need a Target AMEX reloadable gift card.  I first learned about this card from Frequent Miler’s post last October (post).  It hasn’t gotten much attention lately with Bluebird dominating the reloadable space, but this card definitely is worthy.  It does not have bill pay, but what it lacks in features, it makes up for in “loadability”.  This is the only reloadable gift card that can be loaded with gift cards that do not have PINs.  You know, all those American Express gift cards you bought last week at Office Max?  They don’t have PINs.  Load them to your Target AMEX card and you are good to go.

Welcome Slick Deal members, here is my Target receipt from this morning:

After loading up my Target AMEX, I usually drive over to CVS and buy 2 Vanilla Reload Cards.  There you go, all liquidated.  For more info on the Target AMEX, read this post.  If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
