Good morning everyone. As part of my 2016 New Years resolutions, I want to organize more local meetups to talk about miles, points, cash back, and maybe even travel. Since my last “unofficial” SF meetup was back on August 15, I’m sure there are quite a few things to catch up on. I apologize for the short notice invitation, but I hope some of you can make it. Technically, we can’t do a “meetup” without “meat”, so I’ve decided to take my talents back to Super Duper Burgers on Market Street (located between Montgomery and Powell Street BART stations).
- Where: 721 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94103 (Google Maps)
- When: Saturday, January 9 @ 12-2pm
After this meetup, I will be in Europe for 2 weeks (Jan 16-31) and I will organize a South Bay / Peninsula meetup for Saturday Feb 6 (day before Super Bowl Sunday). If anyone lives nearby, do you have any good restaurant recommendations that are easily accessible by CalTrain and walking?
If you think you might be able to make the SF Meetup, please let me know so I can get a rough estimate. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below. Have a great Sunday everyone!
Thanks Grant for organizing. I will be there. Johnny Vee
Cool, I’ll cya next weekend, Johnny.
For the Peninsula, there are tons of options in Palo Alto, Burlingame and San Carlos. Count me in for that event and have fun next week.
Thanks Todd, which CalTrain stop has the best options that are walking distance from the station? I don’t know that area at all.
Mountain View caltrain is near walmart. Would be interested to find out more about opportunities in Burlingame and San Carlos.
Any good restaurants near the Mountain View Walmart?
I’d like to join.
You got it, cya on Saturday :)
Hey Guys,
I am able to join. See you guys on Saturday!
Awesome, cya on Saturday, Sang!
I’m coming to this meetup. Since I plan to leave the Bay Area for a few months, I’m glad that I will still be in town on Saturday.
Sweet, I’ll see you on Saturday then. Where are you headed?
I’m headed for Tuscaloosa, AL, to go to college for the spring semester.
