Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend.  I had a great time at the wedding up in Placerville, CA (outside Sacramento and close to where the California Gold Rush started in Coloma at Sutter’s Mill).  Speaking of gold… let’s talk about Club Carlson Gold Points :) When I returned home, I received the following letter regarding my US Bank Club Carlson Visa Signature Credit Card.  I have a pathetic targeted spending offer: Earn 5,000 bonus Club Carlson points for spending $5,050 between November 1 and December 31.

Everyday spending on the US Bank Club Carlson Visa Signature Credit Card is 5x Club Carlson points, so with this offer, I would be earning 6x on everyday spend.  Club Carlson points are not worth much, so I will be skipping this targeted offer.  I also have a US Bank Club Carlson Business Credit Card, so I will be on the look out for that targeted spending offer too.  If you have a US Bank Club Carlson credit card, please let me know if you received a better targeted spending offer.  I expect US Bank will send out many targeted offers on all their credit cards, so keep checking your mail and inbox for targeted offers.
