I had intended to review another property in Cabo, but due to the problems, I left after one day and booked my remaining 5 days at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.
This property was great and I really had no problems during my stay. The stay cost me 20,000 Hyatt points per night, so 100,000 points total for the stay. Since this property is an all-inclusive, they usually charge more for the room depending on the number of occupants; single occupancy is the cheapest. This makes sense as they are essentially paying for the food and drink of all occupants. I was surprised that the 20,000 points per night was the same for 1 or 2 occupants, but the cash price was not. For only 7.3 million Hyatt points, you could live here for a year, all-inclusive. Well, you would have to find someone to do your laundry as that’s not included, but everything else is!

As soon as we entered the lobby, we were met with a barrel of beer on ice, very welcome since we walked from our disastrous stay a few blocks away.
I was upgraded to a room with an ocean view, and I currently hold no status with the Hyatt brand. Even with no status, we had a great room amenity awaiting us, champaign, liquor, and sweets were available as soon as we entered the room.
National donut day was a thing at Hyatt during my stay, and of course they were delicious.
One of the restaurants that is on the property is a sushi restaurant. The chef is incredibly talented and reminds me of someone you would find working at a very expensive restaurant in a large city. The sushi and sashimi was prepared perfectly and tasted great; of course it’s also unlimited since the restaurant is “all inclusive” as well.
The property is well maintained and there are multiple pools available. This is important to many people, as some pools can become crowded or noisy. This Ziva has one pool in the main area and another on the other side of the resort. Both pools offer swim up rooms, and the views at night are gorgeous.
The beaches are designated non-swimmable, as the currents are strong. I did see several people swimming in the ocean but virtually everyone else were in the swimming pools.
The staff were great and very attentive, including asking how the stay was and offering suggestions for anything you want or need. As with many of my Hyatt visits, I would recommend this property if you are looking for a solid location in Cabo. Here are some other photos from my stay.

Yes internet was great, speed good and coverage throughout resort was good.
